MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM –  Dr Badikenita Br Sitepu SE.SH.M.Si kini duduk sebagai anggota DPD RI Dapil Sumatera Utara periode 2019-2024. Perempuan kelahiran Kabanjahe  27 Juni 1975 ini kembali bertarung memperebutkan kursi anggota Dewan Perwakilan Daerah (DPD) Dapil Provinsi Sumatera Utara (Sumut) di Pemilu 2024.

 

Badikenita Sitepu adalah petahana (Incumbent) yang merupakan perempuan satu-satunya untuk Calon DPD RI Dapil Sumatera Utara untuk Pemilu 2024 ini, dengan nomor urut 4.

 

Ia sebelumnya menjadi anggota DPD dapil Sumut dua periode PAW  2018 – 2019 dan 2019-2024, dengan perolehan suara sebanyak 496.760.

 

Kini, perempuan yang menggeluti bisnis dan akademisi dosen disalah satu perguruan tinggi internasional di Jakarta itu akan kembali maju ke senayan untuk ketiga kalinya. Berikut profil Badikenita Sitepu, calon petahana DPD RI dapil Sumatera Utara di Pemilu 2024:

 

Lahir dari keluarga berpendidikan yang mana ayahnya bergelar doktorandus dan M.Sc di Kabanjahe, Kabupaten Karo, Sumatra Utara pada 27 Juni 1975, Badikenita Putri br Sitepu menghabiskan waktu kecilnya hingga lulus SMA di tanah kelahirannya. Lulus SMA, perempuan berparas cantik berkacamata minus itu melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi ilmu ekonomi di Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) lulus tahun  1998.

 

Tidak puas hanya setitel sarjana (S1), anak dari pasangan Drs.Pajak Sitepu M.Sc dan  Mulisip br Perangin-angin kembali melanjutkan pendidikan pasca sarjana Magister Ilmu Ekonomi USU lulus tahun  2004. Lagi-lagi, tidak puas hanya dengan gelar magister menyerupai ayahnya, lalu Badikenita mengambil Doktor ilmu ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Indonesia lulus tahun 2023 dan tercatat  merupakan doktor termuda alumni UI. Tidak puas hanya mengeyam pendidikan dalam bidang ekonomi, perempuan murah senum itu mengambil ilmu hukum di Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) lulus dengan gelar Sarjana Hukum (SH) tahun 2022.

 

”Saya akan menjadi seorang profesor dan menjadi guru besar,” ujar Dr Badikenita Siteou SE.SH.M.Si ketika berbincang-bincang dengan awak media, Senin (8/01/24) di Medan.

 

Meski memiliki gelar yang mumpuni, tak membuat Badikenita cepat puas, bahkan memiliki motivasi tinggi untuk terus belajar.

 

Namun, disamping ketekunanya untuk menimba ilmu, Badikenita masih meluangkan waktunya untuk bergaul dengan teman-temannya. Diapun dipersunting  seorang pria tampan yang lahir dari keluarga ekonomi mumpuni yakni  Anggara Soaduon Simanjuntak.

 

Anggara Soaduon Simanjuntak lahir dari pasangan Aleksander Junus Simanjuntak dan Aminar boru Siahaan. Dari buah cinta Badikenita dengan Anggara Soaduon Simanjuntak lahir dua anak: Agatha Beatrice Ullyna Simanjuntak, SE.B.Com, Sarjana Univesitas Indonesia – Universitas Melbourne lulus tahun 2023 dan seorang putra bernama  Jeremy Lawrence Tarduga Torajauli Simanjuntak yang kini menempuh pendidikan  Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Indonesia (UI).

 

Setelah menikah dengan Anggara Soaduon Simanjuntak, Dr Badikenita Sitepu SE.SH.M.Si mencalonkan diri menjadi DPD RI Dapil Sumatera Utara. Hasil kerja kerasnya berbuah manis walau menjadi PAW (Pergantian Antar Waktu) DPD RI Tahun 2018-2019.

 

 

Pada Pemilu 2019 lalu, kemanakan/bere dari marga Sinaga itu kembali dipercayakan Masyarakat Sumatera Utara duduk menjadi anggota DPD RI periode Tahun 2019-2024.

 

 

Tidak mau berdiam diri dan puas hanya sampai disitu, alumni Lemhanas (Lembaha Ketahanan Nasional) Angkatan 45 itu dalam jiwanya akan berjuang membela kepentingan masyarakat khususnya warga Sumatera Utara, kini mencalonkan diri menjadi anggota DPD RI nomior urut 4 Dapil Sumatera Utara pada Pemilu 2024 ini.
