LABURA, INVOCAVIT.COM – Tim Unit IV Subdit 2 Ditresnarkoba Polda Sumatera Utara berhasil menggagalkan upaya penyelundupan narkotika jenis sabu seberat 8 kilogram dalam pengungkapan kasus yang dilakukan di perairan Tanjung Leidong, Kecamatan Kualuh Leidong, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara, pada Selasa pagi (18/2/2025).
Dalam pengungkapan kasus ini, tiga orang yang diduga terlibat dalam tindak pidana narkotika berhasil diamankan beserta barang bukti. Ketiga tersangka yang diamankan adalah N (67) yang merupakan warga Asahan, serta TF (47) dan A (45) yang berasal dari Aceh. Mereka diduga berperan dalam jaringan penyelundupan narkotika dari Malaysia ke Indonesia melalui jalur laut.
Selain delapan bungkus sabu dalam kemasan teh Cina merk Guanyinwang, polisi juga menyita satu unit sampan kalok, empat unit ponsel, satu kantong tas biru, serta uang tunai Rp1,5 juta.
Direktur Reserse Narkoba Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Yemi Mandagi, S.I.K., M.H., menjelaskan bahwa pengungkapan ini berawal dari informasi masyarakat terkait pergerakan narkotika jaringan internasional yang akan masuk ke Indonesia.
“Setelah menerima informasi, tim langsung bergerak ke lokasi dan melakukan pengintaian selama beberapa jam hingga akhirnya berhasil mengamankan satu unit sampan yang dicurigai membawa narkotika,” ujar Yemi Mandagi.
Saat diamankan, tersangka N mengaku bahwa sabu tersebut diperolehnya dari tiga pria tak dikenal di tengah laut. Ia diperintahkan oleh seseorang bernama Rinaldi (DPO) untuk membawa sabu tersebut ke daratan, di mana nantinya akan dijemput oleh TF dan A. N dijanjikan upah sebesar Rp2 juta per kilogram jika berhasil mengantarkan barang haram tersebut, dan sebelumnya telah menerima uang transportasi sebesar Rp10 juta.
Setelah mengamankan N dan barang bukti sabu, tim kepolisian kemudian melakukan pengembangan dan berhasil menangkap TF dan A di Jalan Besar Sei Kepayang, Kabupaten Asahan. Keduanya diduga berperan sebagai penerima sabu sebelum didistribusikan ke daerah lain. Saat ini, polisi masih memburu Rinaldi, yang diduga sebagai dalang utama dalam penyelundupan ini.
Kapolda Sumatera Utara, Irjen Pol Whisnu Hermawan Februanto, S.I.K., M.H., melalui Plt. Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Yudhi Surya Markus Pinem, S.I.K., M.H., mengapresiasi keberhasilan Ditresnarkoba dalam menggagalkan penyelundupan ini. “Keberhasilan ini adalah bukti komitmen Polda Sumut dalam memberantas jaringan narkotika internasional. Kami akan terus menindak tegas pelaku kejahatan narkoba yang merusak generasi bangsa,” tegas Yudhi Pinem.
Ketiga tersangka saat ini telah dibawa ke kantor Ditresnarkoba Polda Sumut untuk menjalani pemeriksaan lebih lanjut. Polisi juga terus melakukan pengembangan guna mengungkap jaringan yang lebih luas dan menangkap pelaku lain yang terlibat dalam kasus ini.(jos).
