MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM — Direktorat (Dit) Reserse Narkoba Polda Sumut bersama Avsec Bandara Kualanamu, berhasil menggagalkan penyelundupan 5 kilogram narkotika jenis sabu-sabu pada 15 April 2025. Barang terlarang itu hendak dibawa ke Kendari, Sulawesi.
Direktur Reserse Narkoba Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Calvijn Simanjuntak mengungkapkan, adapun modus yang dilakukan ke empat tersangka dengan menyembunyikan di balik pakaian dan dilakban di bagian perut.
“Modusnya melalui bandara dengan body wrapping,” ungkap Jean Calvijn didampingi Kabid Humas, Kombes Pol Ferry Walintukan dan petugas Avsec, Rabu (30/4/2025).
Adapun kelima tersangka, LN, RZ, RA dan IS, seluruhnya warga Jakarta. “Sabu seberat 5 kg itu dibagi 4, dan dipecah dalam beberapa bungkus, dilakban di perut para tersangka,” katanya.
Mereka melakoni perannya atas perintah D (DPO). “Pada 10 April 2025 lalu, LN dihubungi D (DPO) menawarkan untuk mengantarkan sabu-sabu ke Kendari,” sebutnya.
LN kemudian menghubungi 3 tersangka lainnya, dan mereka bertemu di salah satu stasiun kereta api di Jakarta membicarakan tawaran mengantar sabu tersebut.
Mereka kemudian tiba di Medan, Sumatera Utara (Sumut) dan menginap di salah satu hotel di Ringroad Jalan Gagak Hitam Medan.
“Ketika di Gagak Hitam, LN dihubungi D, ada mobil putih mendekat dan mereka melakukan serah terima sabu. Para tersangka lalu berpindah ke hotel lain di Jalan Gagak Hitam,” papar Calvijn.
Setelah itu, pada 15 April 2025, para tersangka berangkat dari Bandara Kualanamu, Deliserdang tujuan Kendari, Sulawesi Tenggara (Sulteng) menggunakan pesawat 21.30 WIB malam. Namun, petugas berhasil menggagalkannya.
“Pertama ditangkap tersangka RZ saat pemeriksaan X Ray Door dan ditemukan 12 bungkus sabu di tubuhnya,” jelas Calvijn.
Kepada petugas, RZ mengaku 3 temannya (tersangka) yang lain sudah masuk (chek in) bandara. Petugas kemudian melakukan pemeriksaan CCTV untuk melihat wajah tersangka lainnya.
“Selanjutnya dilakukan penangkapan terhadap tiga tersangka lainnya, ada yang di gate, smoking area,” katanya.
Dalam menjalankan aksinya, para tersangka telah mendapatkan upah sementara Rp 4 juta untuk keperluan perjalanan.
Menurut Calvijn, para tersangka sebelumnya sudah 2 kali berhasil membawa sabu tujuan Kendari pada Februari 2025 lalu.
“Yang sebelumnya juga dikendalikan oleh D,” ujar Calvijn, menambahkan pengungkapan 5 kg sabu itu berhasil menyelamatkan 25 ribu jiwa.(jos)
