Kunjungan Badan Karantina Indonesia dalam rangka Pelepasan ekspor komoditas perikanan dan pertanian di Pelabuhan Teluk Nibung Jl. Pelabuhan Lk. III Kel. Perjuangan Kec. Teluk Nibung Kota Tanjung Balai.
Hadir dalam kegiatan Kepala Badan Karantina Indonesia Ir. Sahat Manaor Panggabean beserta rombongan, perwakilan Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Utara
Plt. Kabid Perdagangan dalam negeri Disprindag Sumut Azrai Ridho Hanafiah, Walikota Tanjung Balai Mahyaruddin Salim B. S.E., M.A.P dan jajaran forkopimda Tanjung Balai serta instansi terkait lainnya.
Dalam Arahannya, Kepala Badan Karantina Indonesia Sahat M. Panggabean mengatakan untuk Jajaran Karantina saya ingatkan untuk membantu dan bermitra dengan Pemko Tanjungbalai berikut jajaran Lintas Sektoral dan Para Pelaku Usaha untuk dapat membantu memajukan Kota Tanjungbalai.
“Saya berkomitmen akan membantu untuk dapat mengembangkan Kota Tanjungbalai, dikarenakan Potensi Kota Tanjungbalai masih banyak yang dapat dikembangkan,” katanya
“Diakhir sambutan, saya doakan dan komitmen memberi dukungan seluruh upaya untuk membangun ekonomi, sehingga roda perputaran ekonomi kota Tanjung Balai dapat berjalan dengan baik dan berkembang,” tutupnya
Dalam kesempatan itu Kapolres Tanjungbalai AKBP Welman Feri mengatakan Kunjungan ini dilakukan dalam rangka membahas mengenai sektor pangan, pertanian, kehutanan, kelautan perikanan dan perkarantinaan khususnya di Kota Tanjungbalai.
Kapolres juga mengatakan, kami dari Polri khususnya Polres Tanjungbalai siap mendukung kegiatan ini sekaligus mempererat kerjasama antara kepolisian dan Badan Karantina dalam menjalankan tugas dan fungsi terutama terkait pengawasan dan penegakan hukum di bidang karantina baik itu hewan, ikan maupun tumbuhan,” kata AKBP Welman.(anja)
