Terdakwa Josniko Tarigan menjalani persidangan di Pengadilan Negeri Cabang Pancurbatu, Rabu (10/9).(ist).
Pancurbatu, INVOCAVIT.COM : Majelis Hakim Pengadilan Negeri Cabang Pancurbatu memvonis Josniko Tarigan dengan hukuman 1,6 tahun (18 bulan) penjara.
Vonis yang dijatuhkan ketua majelis hakim Dewi kepada Josniko Tarigan lebih rendah dari tuntutan jaksa sebelumnya selama 2,2 tahun penjara.
“Terdakwa terbukti melakukan penganiayaan sesuai dengan Pasal 351 Ayat 1 KUHP dengan putusan 1,6 tahun dipotong masa tahanan,” kata Majelis Hakim, Dewi.
Usai menjatuhkan vonis, ia juga menyampaikan kepada terdakwa Josniko apakah akan melakukan upaya banding atau tidak. “Saudara apakah terima dengan putusan ini atau mau melakukan upaya banding atau pikir-pikir. Jika banding segera berkomunikasi dengan rekan-rekan JPU (jaksa penuntut umum,” sebut ketua majelis, yang dibalas terpidana Josniko Tarigan dengan marah-marah.
Akan tetapi, JPU bernama Tantra dan Goklas mengambil sikap dengan mengatakan pikir-pikir atas putusan dari majelis hakim.
Sementara itu di luar persidangan sekelompok massa pencinta keadilan yang mengawal kasus ini mengaku kecewa dengan putusan majelis hakim yang memberikan vonis hanya 1,6 tahun kepada terdakwa Josniko Tarigan.
“Yang mulia, jangan dibela terdakwa ini. Karena dia sangat sadis menganiaya Notrianta, bahkan di depan anak-anak korban dan istrinya. Hukum terdakwa dengan seberat-beratnya. Kami mendukung yang mulia,” teriak E Ginting sesaat akan dimulainya persidangan.
Terpisah, kuasa hukum korban bernama Wilter Sinuraya dan rekannya mengaku vonis itu jauh dari harapan. “Kami tetap apresiasi putusan majelis hakim walau putusan itu tidak mencerminkan keadilan,” ujarnya.
