Poldasu gelar Rakernis fungsi Kehumasan, Kamis (28/8).(ist).
Medan, INVOCAVIT.COM – Bidhumas Polda Sumatera Utara menggelar Rapat Kerja Teknis (Rakernis) Fungsi Kehumasan Tahun Anggaran 2025, Kamis (28/8/2025). Kegiatan ini mengusung tema “Meningkatkan Profesionalisme Personel Bidang Humas Polda Sumut dalam Rangka Pencapaian Trending Citra Polri untuk Masyarakat”.
Rakernis dibuka oleh Kapolda Sumut Irjen Pol Whisnu Hermawan Februanto, S.I.K., M.H. yang dalam kesempatan tersebut diwakili Wakapolda Sumut Brigjen Pol Rony Samtana, S.I.K., M.T.C.P..
Dalam arahannya, Wakapolda menegaskan bahwa peran Humas saat ini tidak bisa lagi dianggap hanya sebagai pelengkap organisasi.
“Kita tidak bisa lagi memandang Humas hanya sebagai pelengkap organisasi Polri. Humas justru menjadi salah satu kunci keberhasilan Polri dalam mewujudkan keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat yang kondusif, penegakan hukum yang adil, serta dapat memberikan perlindungan, pengayoman, dan pelayanan kepada seluruh lapisan masyarakat”, tegasnya Brigjen Pol Rony.
“Melalui Rakernis Kehumasan Tahun 2025 ini, saya berharap lahir berbagai ide, strategi, dan inovasi yang mampu memperkuat peran Humas Polda Sumut menuju profesionalitas dalam memberikan informasi yang aktual dan terpercaya kepada masyarakat,” tambah Brigjen Pol Rony.
Acara turut dihadiri oleh para pejabat utama Polda Sumut, PPID Satker, para Kasi Humas, serta anggota Humas dari seluruh polres jajaran.
Sejumlah narasumber dihadirkan untuk memberikan materi, di antaranya Rizal R. Surya, Ahli Pers Dewan Pers sekaligus Wakil Pemimpin Redaksi Analisa Medan, yang membawakan materi “Peran Humas Menjadikan Polisi untuk Masyarakat”.
Rizal menekankan pentingnya pemahaman kode etik jurnalistik, hak jawab, hak tolak, serta legalitas media. “Media harus memiliki badan hukum, dan satu badan hukum hanya boleh untuk satu media,” tegasnya.
Anggia Ramadhan, SE., M.Si, dari Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah (KPID) Sumut, yang menyoroti peran media penyiaran sebagai mitra strategis Polri dalam membangun citra positif.
Ia juga memberikan sejumlah rekomendasi, di antaranya pembentukan tim khusus pengelolaan media, alokasi anggaran komunikasi publik, serta evaluasi berkala efektivitas program humas.
T. Agus Khaidir, Manager Tribunnews Medan, dengan materi “Media dan Public Relation di Era Pergeseran Generasi”. Ia menekankan pentingnya media untuk beradaptasidengan perkembangan zaman.
“Dengan perkembangan zaman yang begitu pesat media harus mampu beradaptasi dan membuka diri terhadap transformasi digital agar pesan publik tersampaikan dengan baik,” ujar Agus Khaidir.
Selain itu, Agus juga memberikan pelatihan teknis tentang bagaimana cara menulis berita yang baik, benar, dan menarik pembaca. Menurutnya, gaya bahasa yang sederhana, informatif, dan mengedepankan prinsip 5W+1H akan membuat berita lebih mudah dipahami dan diminati masyarakat.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumut Kombes Pol Ferry Walintukan dalam sambutannya mengatakan, Rakernis ini menjadi wadah penting untuk menyamakan persepsi dan langkah ke depan dalam menjalankan fungsi kehumasan.
“Personel Humas harus mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi serta menjalin sinergi yang lebih erat dengan media. Dengan begitu, citra Polri yang profesional, humanis, dan dipercaya masyarakat bisa terus kita wujudkan,” ujarnya.
