Hal itu disampaikan anggota DPD RI (Dewan Perwakilan Daerah Republik Indonesia) Daerah Pemilihan Sumut Dr Badikenita Sitepu SE.SH.M.Si saat menggelar sosialisasi empat pilar kebangsaan kepada para Siswa-Siswi SMAN 1 Tanah Karo di Jl.Jamin Ginting, Kel Ketaren, Kec Kabanjahe, Kab Tanah Karo, Sumatera Utara pada 21 November 2024.
Anggota DPD RI Dr Badikenita Sitepu SE.SH.M.Si Poto bersama dengan para kepala sekolah dan tenaga pengajar di SMAN 1 Kabanjahe, Kab Tanah Karo.(ist).
Selain para siswa-siswi dan tenaga pengajar di SMAN 1, juga juga turut hadir para kepala sekolah SMA Negeri dan SMK Negeri di Tanah Karo.
Anggota DPD RI tiga periode itu menekankan agar Empat Pilar Kebangsaan itu tetap tertanam didalam hati masyarakat Indonesia.
“Empat pilar kebangsaan ini bukan tiba-tiba saja muncul dan diberlakukan di Indonesia, tetapi ini melalui proses yang panjang, bangsa yang begitu besar dengan luas wilayah 1,905 juta km² dengan jumlah penduduk 279,072 juta jiwa, bukan hal yang mudah untuk menyamakan satu pemahaman, pengertian kalau tidak ada dasar pegangan kita, maka itu lahirlah 4 pilar ini supaya kita bangsa Indonesia untuk menjaga kemerdekaan, rasa demokrasi, rasa persamaan hak dan kebebasan semua orang, maka kita harus punya pegangan yang kuat yaitu 4 pilar kebangsaan ini,” jelas Ketua Umum DPP PIKI (Persatuan Inteligensia Kristen Indonesia) itu.
Seorang siswi SMAN 1 Kabanjahe mengajukan pertanyaan kepada anggota DPD RI Dr.Badikenita Sitepu SE.SH.M.Si saat sosialisasi Empat Pilar Kebangsaan.(ist).
Anggota DPD satu-satunya perempuan asal Sumatera Utara itu menekankan supaya kita masyarakat Indonesia tidak mau dipecah belah karena isu-isu yang belum tentu kebenarannya, jangan mau diadu domba hanya karena isu agama, justru sebaliknya harus saling bahu membahu untuk membangun bangsa ini.
“Bagaimana kita mau capai negara Indonesia menjadi generasi emas di 2045 kalau tidak kita benahi dari sekarang. Untuk itu mari segera berbenah agar tidak ketinggalan, agar supaya anak- anak kita mampu bersaing di Internasional,” tegas lulusan terbaik program pendidikan Reguler Angkatan XLV 2010 Lemhanas RI itu.
Dalam kesempatan itu, lulusan termuda doktor ilmu ekonomi dan bisnis Universitas Indonesia (UI) Tahun 2013 itu membagikan buku-buku bacaan untuk kepada peserta agar lebih mudah memahami isi dari 4 pilar kebangsaan ini.
Tidak lupa juga, Direktur Eksekutif Pusat Kajian Ekonomi Politik dan sosial Sumatera Utara yang juga menjabat Presidium kaukus Perempuan Parlemen Republik Indonesia (KPPRI) Tahun 2020-2024 itu membagikan tas ransel kepada setiap peserta.
