INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN – Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) tahun ajaran 2023/2024, akan dimulai 15 Mei hingga 3 Juli 2023.
Kepala Dinas (Kadis) Pendidikan Provinsi Sumut, Asren Nasution mengatakan, seluruh calon peserta didik wajib mengikuti seluruh aturan dan prosedur yang berlaku.
“Kita terus melakukan perbaikan dari segi teknis dalam PPDB Online ini nantinya. Saya minta siswa yang ingin melanjutkan ke SMA/SMK Negeri nantinya untuk dapat memahami teknis pendaftaran dan menyiapkan persyaratan, serta mengikuti aturan dan prosedur yang berlaku,” ucap Asren Nasution pada acara sosialisasi PPDB TA 2023/2024 jenjang SMA/SMK dan SLB Negeri Sumut di Ruang Rapat Dinas Pendidikan Sumut, Jalan Teuku Cik Ditiro Medan, Selasa (9/5/2023).
Dijelaskan Asren Nasution, Dinas Pendidikan Sumut juga telah memerintahkan seluruh Kepala Sekolah untuk melakukan sosialisasi PPDB 2023/2024 pada siswa SMP di seluruh Kabupaten/Kota, dengan harapan para siswa nantinya dapat memahami dengan baik teknis, prosedur serta aturan yang berlaku.
Pada tahun ini, jelasnya, Dinas Pendidikan Sumut memiliki daya tampung PPDB sebanyak 158.737 siswa yang terdiri dari SMA 93.567 siswa dan SMK 65.170 siswa.
Nantinya, masyarakat dapat memilih 5 kategori jalur pendaftaran yakni Afirmasi, Zonasi, Perpindahan Orangtua dan Anak Guru, Prestasi serta zonasi khusus untuk memenuhi kategori tersebut.
Pembagian kuota terbesar untuk SMK yakni pada kategori Prestasi Nilai Rapor sebanyak 60 persen, Afirmasi 20 persen, Zonasi 10 persen, Perpindahan Orangtua dan Anak Guru 5 persen serta Prestasi lomba 5 persen.
Sedangkan kuota untuk SMA terbesar yakni pada jalur Zonasi sebanyak 50 persen, Prestasi baik lomba dan akademik 25 persen, Afirmasi 20 persen serta Perpindahan Orangtua dan Anak Guru 5 persen.
Untuk diketahui, jalur Afirmasi diperuntukkan bagi siswa yang tidak mampu yang berdomisili di dalam/luar wilayah zonasi, dan hanya memilih satu sekolah baik SMA/SMK.
Jalur Afirmasi ini harus dibuktikan dengan beberapa syarat yang telah ditentukan.
Untuk informasi lebih lanjut pada PPDB 2023/2024 ini, masyarakat dapat mengakses website ppdb.disdik.sumutprov.go.id.
Ketua Komisi E DPRD Sumut, Edi Surahman Sinuraya mengingatkan pada Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) melalui Dinas Pendidikan Sumut untuk terus menyampaikan informasi PPDB Online ini seluas-luasnya pada masyarakat, agar mereka dapat mengetahui baik teknis dan juga prosedur pendaftaran.
Edi Surahman juga meminta penerimaan pada jalur Zonasi pada daerah yang luas untuk dapat lebih diperhatikan. “Ke depan saya minta Dinas Pendidikan Sumut agar dapat menambah ruang kelas di setiap sekolah, agar kuota ini setiap tahunnya dapat terus meningkat. Saya rasa setiap tahunya dapat dilakukan pembangunan ruang kelas ini, karena yang saya lihat lahan disetiap sekolah itu masih memungkinkan,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman Sumut Abyadi Siregar mengatakan, ada perkembangan yang sangat signifikan dalam PPDB ini setiap tahunnya, karena terus dilakukan evaluasi meskipun tidak ada kata sempurna.
Yang menjadi perhatian Ombudsman Sumut yakni Dinas Pendidikan Sumut harus memperhatikan setiap aduan yang disampaikan masyarakat baik secara manual ataupun elekronik.
“Ini harus dikelola dengan baik agar tidak muncul masalah baru. Dinas Pendidikan harus menyiapkan pos pengaduan di setiap sekolah,” katanya.
Mengenai penerimaan zona Afirmasi, Abyadi Siregar mengingatkan, Dinas Pendidikan Sumut terkait antisipasi agar hak bagi penerima Afirmasi dapat memperoleh kesempatan tersebut sesuai haknya, dan jangan sampai yang tidak berhak dapat memperoleh jalur tersebut.(rel).
