Jakarta, INVOCAVIT.COM: Anggota DPR RI Komisi XIII Kombes Pol (Purn) Dr Maruli Siahaan SH.MH mengatakan adanya diskriminatif terhadap perempuan dari sisi hukum perlu dihindari.
Maruli menegasan, Ditjen Peraturan Perundang-undangan perlu melakukan harmonisasi regulasi dengan prinsip kesetaraan gender, termasuk revisi undang-undang dan aturan turunan yang tidak lagi relevan.
Untuk menghindari terjadinya diskriminatif terhadap perempuan diminta supaya Komnas Perempuan dilibatkan dalam proses penyusunan dan penilaian RUU untuk memastikan perspektif gender menjadi bagian dari substansi hukum.
Hal itu dikatakan Kombes Pol (Purn) Dr Maruli Siahaan SH.MH anggota Komisi XIII Fraksi Golkar Dapil Sumut I itu dalam Rapat Dengar Pendapat (RDP) dan Rapat Dengar Pendapat Umum (RDPU) di Ruang Rapat Komisi XIII Gedung Nusantara II Lt.3, Jakarta, Selasa (30/9).
Rapat Dengar Pendapat dan RDPU itu menghadirkan Dirjen Peraturan Perundang-Undangan (PP), Dirjen Otonomi Daerah Kemendagri, Komnas Perempuan dan Federasi Serikat Pekerja Bandara Indonesia.
Adapun pembahasan agenda rapat ini adalah terkait regulasi diskriminatif terhadap perempuan.
Dr. Maruli Siahaan SH.MH memberikan rekomendasi diantaranya agar Ditjen Otonomi Daerah perlu melakukan evaluasi menyeluruh terhadap perda yang berpotensi diskriminatif dan merekomendasikan revisi atau pencabutannya.
Kemudian, Maruli juga mendorong agar pemerintah pusat perlu memperkuat mekanisme pengawasan sebelum perda disahkan untuk mencegah munculnya aturan yang bertentangan dengan konstitusi.
“Secara khusus Ditjen Peraturan Perundang-undangan perlu melakukan harmonisasi regulasi dengan prinsip kesetaraan gender, termasuk revisi undang-undang dan aturan turunan yang tidak lagi relevan,” ujarnya.
