Langkat, INVOCAVIT.COM – Anggota DPR RI dari Fraksi Partai Gerindra, Sugiat Santoso memberikan fasilitas bimbingan belajar gratis kepada siswa kelas XII di SMA Negeri 1 Kuala, Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatera Utara. Bimbingan belajar gratis ini akan berlangsung selama 1 tahun.

Sugiat Santoso menyampaikan hal ini saat melakukan kegiatan monitoring dan evaluasi terkait dengan minat kampus tujuan di SMAN 1 Kuala. Ketua Umum Ikatan Alumni SMA Negeri 1 Kuala ini menilai pihaknya memiliki kewajiban untuk membantu juniornya di sekolah tersebut.

“Sebagai alumni, kami merasa berkewajiban untuk memberikan perhatian lebih bagi adik-adik kami di SMA Negeri 1 Kuala,” kata Sugiat Santoso, yang juga Sekretaris DPD Partai Gerindra Sumut, pada Minggu (31/8/2025).

Sugiat kemudian menyampaikan pesan penting mengenai peran bimbel dalam mempersiapkan siswa untuk mengikuti seleksi yang ketat. Terutama bagi siswa yang memiliki target untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi.

Untuk itu, Sugiat menilai pentingnya bantuan kepada siswa berupa fasilitas bimbingan belajar yang gratis.

“Tidak hanya dalam memberikan dukungan moral, tapi juga membantu mereka dalam menentukan langkah-langkah konkret yang diperlukan untuk meraih cita-cita mereka, seperti mengikuti program bimbingan belajar yang tepat,” jelasnya.

Sugiat berharap bimbingan belajar yang diberikan kepada siswa SMAN 1 Kuala ini bermanfaat sehingga banyak yang masuk perguruan tinggi. Dia ingin, alumni SMAN 1 Kuala masuk ke kampus-kampus dengan rating yang tinggi di Indonesia maupun di Luar Negeri.

“Ke depan kita ingin dari SMAN 1 Kuala ini ada yang masuk UI, ITB, IPB, UGM, dan kampus besar lain di Indonesia maupun di luar negeri,” sebut Wakil Ketua Komisi XIII DPR RI ini. (kcu)
