Dalam sambutannya, Dedi menekankan bahwa Humas Polri memiliki tantangan yang tidak mudah ke depan. Oleh karenanya, pengoptimalan potensi, upaya pencegahan kerawanan, dan peningkatan kesigapan merespons harus terus dilakukan.
“Humas Polri harus terus memberikan literasi digital kepada masayarakat untuk mencerdaskan masyarakat,” kata dalam sambutannya di Jakarta, Selasa (21/11/23).
Lebih lanjut, Dedi menegaskan, personel Humas Polri harus siap sedia 24 jam. Selain itu, koordinasi dengan polda jajaran harus terus ditingkatkan agar segala upaya pencegahan dan penanganan dilakukan secara masif.
“Harapannya dengan meningkatkan persatuan dan kesatuan untuk membangun Indonesia harus berjalan dengan baik, betul betul aman jujur dan baik,” kata Dedi.
Ditambahkan Dedi, Humas Polri juga harus sadar bahwa dalam Pemilu 2024 tidak hanya berperan melakukan upaya pencegahan dan penanggulangan konten negatif di media sosial. Menurut As SDM.

Menurut Dedi, Mabes Polri melalui Humas Polri juga harus merangkul para tokoh masyarakat wilayah untuk bersinergi demi mengawal serta menjaga pelaksanaan Pemilu 2024 berjalan netral, aman dan damai.
