MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Pusat mengumumkan perubahan struktur pengurus pusat untuk masa bakti 2023-2028. Keputusan ini diambil dalam rapat pleno yang diperluas pada 27 Juni 2024 dan menetapkan beberapa perubahan posisi kunci di organisasi tersebut.
Perubahan pengurus harian meliputi Iqbal Irsyad yang kini menjabat sebagai Sekretaris Jenderal, menggantikan Sayid Iskandarsyah. Sebelumnya, Iqbal Irsyad adalah Ketua Satgas Anti Hoax.
Selanjutnya M Nasir yang sebelumnya memegang posisi Ketua Bidang Pendidikan, kini menjadi Bendahara Umum menggantikan Marthen Selamet. Marthen Selamet kini menjabat sebagai Ketua Bidang Kerjasama dan Kemitraan, menggantikan Sarwani. Sarwani sendiri berpindah posisi menjadi Wakil Bendahara Umum.
Di Dewan Kehormatan, Tatang Suherman menggantikan Nurcholis sebagai Sekretaris Dewan Kehormatan (DK). Mahmud Matangara menggantikan Uni Lubis sebagai Wakil Ketua DK. Selain itu, M. Noeh Hatumena, Hendro Basuki, dan Berman Nainggolan L Radja kini menjadi anggota Dewan Kehormatan.
Perubahan pengurus ini didasarkan pada beberapa dasar keputusan, yaitu Peraturan Dasar dan Peraturan Rumah Tangga PWI, Keputusan Kongres XXV PWI Nomor 8/K-XXV/PWI/2023 tentang Susunan dan Personalia Pengurus Pusat PWI masa bakti 2023-2028, serta Risalah Rapat Pleno Diperluas Pengurus Pusat PWI tanggal 27 Juni 2024.
Rapat Pleno Diperluas yang dihadiri oleh Ketua Umum PWI, Hendry Ch. Bangun, Sekretaris Jenderal, Sayid Iskandarsyah, Bendahara Umum, Marthen Selamet, serta beberapa anggota penting lainnya, menghasilkan keputusan penting terkait perubahan pengurus tersebut.
