Ketua PWI Sumut H.Farianda Putra Sinik SE buka pelatihan dan orientasi anggota PWI muda di Hotel Rudng Berastagi,  Rabu (15/11).(ist).

 

 

BERASTAGI, INVOCAVIT.COM – Ketua PWI Sumut Farianda Putra Sinik SE meyakinkan seluruh anggotanya harus bangga menjadi anggota PWI Sumut. Sebab, selain mampu bergabung di organisasi terhormat yang mendunia juga akan mendapat pertanggungan asuransi BPJS Ketenagakerjaan dan perlindungan lainnya.

 

Hal itu disampaikan Farianda Putra Sinik SE saat membuka pelatihan jurnalistik dan orientasi organisasi anggota muda PWI Sumut di Hotel Rudang Berastagi, (15/11/2023). Acara pelatihan bagi anggota muda PWI yang bertemakan “Meningkatkan Kualitas Pendidikan dan Semangat Berorganisasi Anggota PWI Sumut” itu dihadiri 120 peserta wartawan anggota muda dan berlangsung dua hari Rabu-Kamis (15-16/11/2023).

 

Hadir juga Bupati Karo Cory Sriwati Sebayang yang diwakili
Asisten III Pemkab Karo Mulianta Tarigan S Sos Kapolres Karo yang diwakili Kabagrem Polres T Karo Kompol H Matondang, Ketua PWI Kabupaten/Kota se Sumut serta pengurus PWI Sumut.

 

Disampaikan, sejak masa kepemimpinannya, Farianda mengaku fokus peningkatan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) bagi wartawan anggota PWI. Dengan harapan akan tercipta wartawan yang berkualitas dan profesional.

 

Maka itu, dari 10 program PWI Sumut, 8 diantaranya terkait pendidikan. “Saya niat bersih memajukan organisasi dan meningkatkan SDM Wartawan, saya yakin Tuhan akan memberikan lapang jalan untuk kebaikan,” sebut Farianda.

 

Ditambahkan Farianda lagi, bagi anggota PWI Sumut akan terdaftar di asuransi BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Dimana nantinya akan mendapat pertanggungan jiwa bila terjadi kecelakaan dan pertanggungan jika meninggal dunia.

 

Selai itu tambah Farianda, seluruh anggota PWI akan mendapat perlindungan hukum dan pendidikan. “Jadi orientasi ini sangat penting guna mendapat pemahaman serta menjalin silaturahmi dan meningkatkan rasa kebersamaan memiliki PWI Sumut. Ikuti dengan seksama orientasi ini dan penuh semangat menjadi wartawan yang profesional,” kata Farianda.

 

Sementara itu, Bupati Karo Cory Sriwaty Sebayang diwakili Asisten III Pemkab Karo Mulianta Tarigan S Sos menyampaikan apresiasi kepada PWI Sumut yang peduli meningkatkan kualitas SDM wartawan yang handal dan profesional. Sebab, di Era digital yang sangat mudah penyebaran informasi maka dituntut kinerja
Wartawan yang cepat, berkualitas dan berimbang.

 

Selain itu, Pemkab Karo sangat berharap kepada pers mempromosikan keindahan Karo dengan tujuan meningkatkan wisatawan.

 

Sementara itu Kapolres T Karo yang diwakili Kabagren  Kompol H Matondang menyampaikan dengan dilakukannya pelatihan berharap bagi anggota PWI dapat lebih meningkatkan etika mencari informasi dan menyajikan berita.

 

“Etika mencari berita dan membuat berita agar lebih bagus. Sehingga hubungan selaku mitra tetap terjalin lebih bagus dan bermartabat,” ujar Matondamg.

 

Sebelumnya, Ketua Panitia pelaksana Sugiatmo menyampaikan adapun tujuan pelatihan dan orientasi bagi anggota PWI guna memahami dan mengetahui rambu rambu bagi kode etik dan meningkatkan kebersamaan bagi anggota baru.

 

Dengan adanya pembekalan agar nantinya anggota PWI dapat melaksanakan jurnalistik yang profesional dan berkualitas. Sedangkan anggota peserta dihadiri 120 orang didampingi masing masing Ketua PWI Kabupaten /Kota di Sumut.
