MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Provinsi Sumatera Utara (Provsu) memberi pelatihan kepada ratusan volunteer yang terdaftar sebagai Workforce (WF) di bidang layanan transportasi. Direkrut untuk mengurusi transportasi para atlit, official, dan panitia pelaksana Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXI Aceh – Sumut.
Pelatihan digelar di Kampus Nomensen, Medan, Kamis (15/8/2024).
Kasi Manajemen dan Rekayasa Lalu Lintas Dinas Perhubungan Provsu, Menson, mengatakan pelatihan dilakukan untuk memberi pemahaman dan pengetahuan terkait bidang kerja transportasi dan tugas-tugas rutin yang akan dilakukan para volunteer WF bidang transportasi ini.
Menson menyebut ada tiga bidang pekerjaan transportasi yang akan dijalani para workforce (WF) yang direkrut, yakni WF Pemandu Bus, WF Parkir dan WF Bagasi. “Ketiga area kerja ini nantinya akan mempunyai tugas rutin masing-masing. Mereka akan diberi pelatihan khusus sesuai bidang penempatan,” kata Menson.
Para volunteer atau workforce ketiga bidang ini baik Bagasi, Pemandu Bus dan Parkir selain dilatih soal pelayanan bus angkutan atlit dan official baik dari hotel menuju venue, pelayanan bagasi di bandara saat kedatangan dan kepulangan, juga pelayanan area parkir kendaraan atlit dan official.
“Mereka juga dilatih menggunakan cara kerja alat pendukung seperti aplikasi layanan transportasi untuk melayani lalu lintas atlit dan official tim serta diberikan pelatihan kecakapan dalam komunikasi serta public speaking,” jelas Menson.
Sementara itu Kepala Dinas Ketenagakerjaan Dr Ismael P Sinaga yang juga Ketua Bidang SDM yang bertanggungjawab dalam pelatihan para volunteer ini, menyebut saat ini ada 4.500 green volunteer PON XXI 2024 Aceh-Sumut sedang diberikan pembekalan berupa bimbingan teknis sejak 12 Agustus 2024 lalu.
Pembekalan diberikan kepada para Laison Officer (LO) dan Workforce (WF) baik bidang Pemasaran, Akomodasi, Kesehatan, Transportasi dan Humas atau IT.
“Untuk LO bertugas sebagai jembatan penghubung berbagai pihak dan memastikan informasi yang mengalir. Sementara Workforce berperan memastikan operasional pertandingan dan logistik berjalan tanpa ada hambatan,” jelas Ismael.***
