Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat di Sumut (Kompasiana)

INVOCAVIT.COM-  Data BPS 2021 mengungkapkan ada tiga kabupaten paling sepi di Propinsi Sumut karena penduduknya tergolong sedikit.

 

Sebagaimana diketahui, Sumut memiliki 8 Kota dan 25 Kabupaten yang beribu kota di Kota Medan, dengan luas wilayah 72.981,23 km2.

Provinsi Sumatera Utara ternyata memiliki tiga daerah tersepi dan tersunyi karena memiliki sedikit penduduk, tentu saja Medan atau Binjai tak termasuk dalam daftar ini karena keduanya merupakan kota besar.

 

Lantas daerah manakah yang termasuk tersepi dan tersunyi di Sumut? Berikut daftarnya melansir data statistik di laman sumut.bps.go.id.

 

1. Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat

Daerah tersepi pertama di Provinsi Sumatera Utara yaitu Kabupaten Pakpak Barat dengan ibu kota Salak.

Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat memiliki jumlah penduduk 26.941 jiwa pada tahun 2021 yang menjadikannya daerah dengan penduduk paling sedikit di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat memiliki 8 Kecamatan dan 52 desa serta 211 dusun dengan luas wilayah 1.218 km2. Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat terdiri dari 50 desa swadaya dan 2 desa swakarsa.

Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat berada di kaki pegunungan Bukit Barisan yang kaya akan pertanian dan perkebunan.

Diketahui bahwa Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat hanya memiliki satu unit Rumah Sakit dan 8 unit Puskesmas yang tersebar di masing-masing Kecamatan.

 

2. Kabupaten Nias Barat

Kabupaten Nias Barat beribu kota di Kecamatan Lahomi, dearah ini menjadi daerah tersepi kedua setelah Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat di Sumut.

Menurut data BPS tahun 2021, jumlah penduduk di Kabupaten Nias Barat yaitu 44.101 jiwa.

Kabupaten Nas Barat terdiri dari 8 Kecamatan dan 105 desa dengan luas wilayah mencapai 473,73 km2.

Kabupaten Nias Barat memiliki banyak wisata alam, andalan pariwisata di Kabupaten Nias Barat yaitu kepulauan Hinako yang terdiri atas delapan pulau-pulau kecil yang indah.

 

3. Kota Sibolga

Kota Sibolgia merupakan daerah tersepi ketiga di Sumut dengan jumlah penduduk hanya 45.104 jiwa pada tahun 2021.

Kota Sibolgia memiliki 4 kecamatan dan 17 kelurahan dengan luas wilayah 10,77 km2.

Kota Sibolgia terletak di daerah tepi pantai, lereng dan pegunungan. Mata pencaharian penduduknya beragam, mulai dari perikanan, pariwisata, jasa dan industry maritim.(nn)
