Kapoldasu Irjen Agung Setya Imam Effendi saat menjadi sarasumber 8 Tahun Indonesian Palm Oil Stakeholders Forum (IPOS.(ist).

 

 

MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM  – Kapolda Sumut, Irjen Pol Agung Setya Imam Effendi, menjadi narasumber dalam acara 8 Tahun Indonesian Palm Oil Stakeholders Forum (IPOS-FORUM) bertempat di Hotel Santika Dyandra, Kamis (26/10).

 

Dalam acara tersebut turut dihadiri sebagai narasumber dari Kejati Sumut, Kepala Pengadilan Tinggi, Biro Hukum PTPN 4 dan para peserta Gabungan Pengusaha Kelapa Sawit (GAPKI) Sumut, instasi pemerintah serta para undangan lainnya.

 

Dalam pemaparannya, Irjen Pol Agung mengatakan kelapa sawit di wilayah Provinsi Sumatera merupakan ekosistem yang sudah lama. Dimana sudah lebih dari 100 tahun telah beroperasi dan ekosistemnya terbentuk dengan lengkap yang meliputi lahan, pabrik, lingkungan masyarakat perkebunan, sekolah dan pusat penelitian.

 

Menurutnya, peluang sawit di masa yang akan datang akan menjadi sumber energi terbarukan, bahan pangan dan menjadi anugerah bagi bangsa Indonesia karena lokasi yang sangat ideal untuk tanaman sawit.

 

“Namun keberadaan probelamatika kelapa sawit di Indonesia meliputi problematika agraria, tanaman, politik, sosial dan problematika campuran,” katanya.

 

Agung mengungkapkan, pemecahan problematika itu apabila perkebunan kelapa sawit dapat memberikan profit bagi negara, pegusaha/industri, masyarakat dan sosial budaya.

 

“Bagaimana kita menyelesaikan problematika tersebut dalam rangka mewujudkan keadilan dan kepastian hukum agar bisa dirasakan yaitu dengan cara menerapkan kebijakan pemerintah yang kuat dalam konteks penerapan hukum yang pasti dan adil, memberantas mafia kelapa sawit, lahan dan mafia industri,” ungkapnya.

 

Dalam kesempatan tersebut Kapolda Sumut memberikan beberapa rekomendasi untuk ditindak lanjuti segera yaitu kita harus sungguh-sungguh pada cita-cita besar untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan melalui perkebunan industri dan hilirisasi kelapa sawit.
