LABUHANBATU, INVOCAVIT.COM – Kantor Imigrasi Unit Layanan Paspor (ULP) yang terletak dijalan SM Raja, Kelurahan Bakaran Batu, Kecamatan Rantau Selatan, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu, Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang diresmikan pada masa
Bupati Labuhanbatu H.Pangonal Harahap SE, MSi pada tahun 2018 sudah tutup.
Dibukanya kantor paspor itu dulunya,agar masyarakat Labuhanbatu lebih dekat dalam proses pembuatan paspor khusunya pergi umroh.
“Saya bangga dan sangat bahagia dengan di bukanya Kantor ULP ini,dengan di bukanya ULP ini dapat menjadi alternatif bagi masyarakat Labuhanbatu agar lebih dekat dalam proses pembuatan paspor,”Kata Pangonal saat itu dalam peresmian kantor ULP.
Tutupnya kantor imigrasi itu, masyarakat pun mengeluh, alternatif satunya jika pergi keluar negeri harus berurusan dengan imigrasi tanjung balai.
“Pastinya dengan adanya kantor tersebut masyarakat Labuhanbatu terbantu,khusunya pergi umroh,kenapa bisa tutup ya,”Tanya Danil Merupakan Warga Rantauprapat,Rabu (12/6/2024) pada Wartawan.
Ditelusuri www Invocavit.com,Kepala Kantor Imigrasi Tj Balai Asahan Kanwil Kemenkumham Sumut Wawan Anjaryono melalui Kasubsi Infokim Raymika Caniago mengatakan, bahwa ditutupnya kantor tersebut menyarankan Wartawan agar bertanya pada pihak Pemkab.
“Saat ini masih dilakukan pembahasan terkait kerjasama operasional ULP di Rantauprapat dengan pihak Pemkab,Rata-rata umumnya pengurus paspor digunakan untuk umroh dan Wisata ke Malaysia,”Sebut Raymika saat di Konfirmasi melalui Via Watsppnya.
Menurutnya,dengan adanya ULP itu, antusiasme masyarakat Labuhanbatu sangat baik, sehingga imigrasi membuka layanan pendaftaran online dan Walkin.
“Jadi dalam pengurusan paspor dari sistem penerbitan dari 1 Januari 2022 sampai 31 Desember 2023 sebanyak 19.079 paspor,” jelas Raymika.
Sementara itu,pemkab Labuhanbatu melalui Kepala Bagian (Kabag) kerja sama menjelaskan, atas tutupnyan kantor itu disebabkan karena masih adanya proses perpanjangan dan adanya perbaikan gedung kantor.
“Jika kontrak kerja sama sudah ditandatangani dan gedung diperbaiki akan dibuka lagi, mudah-mudahan bisa terkejar bulan ini,”Terang Nita saat dikonfirmasi.
Disinggung,berapa pemkab mengeluarkan anggaran seperti sewa ruko.
“Bukan masalah anggaran, intinya ada kesepakatan baru dan hal lain yang perlu untuk mendukung kinerja ULP di Labuhanbatu,”Pungkas Nita mengakhiri saat dikonfirmasi melalui Via Watsppnya.(Abi)
