MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Polisi gadungan beraksi di kawasan Medan Tuntungan. Pelaku melarikan 3 unit hanphon milik pelajar dengan modus korban dituduh maling oleh polisi gadungan tersebut.
Satu orang tersangka berhasil ditangkap berinisial WA (46) sedangkan seorang lagi inisial A masih diburon.
Kapolsek Medan Tuntungan, Iptu Eko Sanjaya mengatakan bahwa kejadian bermula pada Rabu (29/1/2025) sekitar pukul 11.30 WIB di Jalan Setia Budi, Kelurahan Simpang Selayang, Kecamatan Medan Tuntungan. Saat itu, korban inisial F (17) bersama dua temannya hendak pulang ke rumah. Di tengah perjalanan, sepeda motor mereka mogok dan tiba-tiba didatangi oleh dua orang pelaku, WA dan A (DPO), yang mengaku sebagai polisi.
“Kalian maling! kata pelaku kepada korban. Korban membantah tuduhan tersebut, namun pelaku memaksa mereka untuk ikut ke pos (polisi),” kata ” katanya Kapolsek, Selasa (11/3/2025).
Polisi gadungan itu kemudian meminta ketiga HP korban untuk diperiksa, namun setelah itu, pelaku langsung melarikan diri dengan membawa kabur ketiga HP tersebut.
“Korban yang merasa dirugikan kemudian melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke Polsek Medan Tuntungan,” ujar Kapolsek.
Setelah melakukan penyelidikan, Kata Kapolsek pada Sabtu (8/3/2025) sekitar pukul 08.00 WIB, petugas berhasil menangkap WA di Gang Gembira, Kelurahan Medan Selayang, Kecamatan Medan Sunggal. Dari hasil interogasi, WA mengakui perbuatannya dan menyebutkan bahwa ia melakukan aksinya bersama temannya, A, yang saat ini masih buron.
“WA juga mengakui bahwa ketiga HP hasil curian tersebut telah dijual di Pajak Melati seharga Rp1,4 juta. Ia mendapatkan bagian sebesar Rp450 ribu yang telah habis digunakan untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari,” terang Iptu Eko.
Kapolsek Medan Tuntungan menambahkan bahwa saat ini pelaku sudah diamankan dan berada di Polsek untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut. WA dijerat dengan Pasal 378 KUHP tentang penipuan dan Pasal 372 KUHP tentang penggelapan.(jos)
