Polda Sumatera Utara bergerak cepat memulihkan akses transportasi vital yang terputus akibat bencana alam di Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah. Sejak pagi, sejumlah satuan dari Polda Sumut dipimpin Karo Log Kombes Suranta Pinem, Direktorat Polairud Kombes Pahala Hotma Mangatur Panjaitan dan Dirsiber Kombes Doni Satrya Sembirin , serta personel Brimob dan Polairud bersama jajaran Polres Tapteng bergotong royong membangun jembatan darurat penyambung dengan peralatan seadanya.
Jembatan yang dikerjakan secara kolaboratif ini merupakan akses penting yang menghubungkan Pandan dengan Kalangan, sekaligus menjadi ruas vital pada Jalur Lintas Sumatera (Jalinsum) Tapteng–Sidempuan. Kerusakan akses tersebut sempat menghambat mobilitas warga, distribusi bantuan, hingga arus logistik.
Meski bekerja dengan kondisi terbatas dan medan yang cukup berat, tim gabungan terus melakukan upaya percepatan agar jalur darurat dapat segera digunakan masyarakat dan kendaraan darurat yang membawa bantuan.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumut menegaskan bahwa langkah cepat semua unsur yang diterjunkan merupakan bentuk komitmen kepolisian dalam membantu percepatan penanganan bencana.
“Polda Sumut tidak membiarkan masyarakat terisolasi. Hari ini, berbagai satuan kami turun langsung membangun jembatan darurat agar Pandan dan Kalangan kembali terhubung. Ini juga demi memulihkan mobilitas di Jalinsum yang merupakan jalur strategis pergerakan logistik,” ujar Kabid Humas Polda Sumut.
Beliau menambahkan bahwa kehadiran aparat bukan hanya untuk menjaga keamanan, tetapi juga memastikan percepatan pemulihan infrastruktur dasar yang berdampak langsung pada masyarakat.
“Dengan peralatan seadanya, personel bekerja keras demi kepentingan warga. Ini adalah bentuk nyata aksi kemanusiaan Polri. Polda Sumut akan terus berada di lapangan sampai akses benar-benar pulih dan masyarakat dapat beraktivitas kembali dengan aman,” lanjutnya.
