BELAWAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 1 Belawan resmi menerapkan auto gate system di Pelabuhan Belawan dengan penggunaan Elektronik Pass (E-Pass) yang berfungsi untuk pendeteksian orang keluar masuk Pelabuhan, Selasa (12/12).
GM Pelindo Belawan, Jonedi Ramli mengatakan penerapan auto gate system merupakan salah satu dari Langkah strategis Perusahaan yang merupakan bagian dari implementasi terhadap Kode Keamanan Internasional terhadap kapal dan fasilitas pelabuhan (The International Ship and Port Facility Security Code-ISPS Code) dalam rangka meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan dan memberikan jaminan keamanan, kenyamanan dalam melakukan kegiatan bisnis di Kawasan Pelabuhan Belawan dan juga jaminan keselamatan bagi pekerja maupun lingkungan kerja.
“Untuk masuk di Kawasan Pelabuhan Belawan, setiap orang atau kendaraan wajib memiliki tanda masuk (Pas) dengan menerapkan prosedur izin masuk berdasarkan ID Code sesuai Port Facility Security Plan (PFSP) yang dikeluarkan oleh Pelindo atas rekomendasi regulator,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut dijelaskan, kewajiban untuk memiliki tanda masuk (Pas) telah berjalan sejak tahun 2013 sesuai dengan Peraturan Direksi Pelindo Nomor US.11/3/PI-13 tanggal 16 Januari 2013 juncto Surat Edaran General Manager Nomor HK.02/17/11/1/B2.1/GM/BLW-22 tanggal 17 Nopember 2022.
“Saat ini belum ada peraturan baru terkait pas masuk pelabuhan, hanya cara pembayarannya yang berbeda, dahulu menggunakan uang tunai, sekarang dengan menggunakan E-Pass,” pungkasnya.
Sebagaimana diketahui, bahwa penerapan pembayaran dengan E-Pass ini juga merupakan bagian dari program transformasi digitalisasi yang dilakukan oleh Pelindo dalam rangka mewujudkan Pelabuhan bersih tanpa korupsi, sekaligus membangun integritas kepelabuhanan, serta telah diterapkan di 23 Cabang Pelabuhan di seluruh Indonesia seperti Pelabuhan Tanjung Priok, Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak, Pelabuhan Makassar, dan Pelabuhan lainnya kelolaan Pelindo.
Mengenai pengemudi ojek dan betor yang keberatan atas penerapan pas masuk di lingkungan Pelabuhan Belawan yang sedang ramai dibicarakan di media-media, Jonedi menghimbau masyarakat penunjang aktifitas kegiatan kepelabuhanan dapat mendaftarkan diri untuk memperoleh Pas Pelabuhan agar dapat memenuhi kriteria pelayanan dan memenuhi semua persyaratan yang ditetapkan sesuai aturan yang berlaku untuk dapat masuk ke dalam kawasan Pelabuhan Belawan.
