INVOCAVIT.COM, KARO – Polda Sumut melaksanakan pengamanan Pemilihan Kepala Desa (Pilkades) hingga proses pemungutan suara di Kabupaten Karo, Senin (19/12).
Kapolda Sumut Irjen Pol RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak melalui Kabid Humas Polda Sumut Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi, mengatakan sebanyak 1.052 personel diturunkan untuk mengamankan jalannya Pikades di Kabupaten Karo dengan sandi Ops Mantap Huta Toba Tahun 2022.
“Personel itu terdiri BKO Polda Sumut, Brimob, Polres Tanah Karo, unsur pelaksana serta staff,” katanya.
Hadi mengungkapkan, pelaksanaan Pilkades di Kabupaten Karo diikuti 17 kecamatan, 231 desa, 543 TPS dengan daftar pemilih tetap (DPT) 206.796 orang.
“Pemungutan suara telah berakhir pada Pukul 12.00 WIB di masing-masing TPS. Ini merupakan Pilkades serentak gelombang I tahun 2022 di Kabupaten Karo, Rayon I, II, dan III,” ungkapnya.
Hadi mengaku, situasi kamtibmas selama pelaksanaan Pilkades di Kabupaten Karo terpantau berjalan aman dan cukup kondusif. Namun begitu untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya gangguan personel tetap disiagakan.
“Kita tetap mengimbau kepada masyarakat untuk selalu menjaga situasi kamtibmas hingga proses penghituan suara di Pilkades Karo berakhir,” pungkasnya.(jos)
