MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Polda Sumatera Utara terus memburu 4 buronan yang terlibat dalam jaringan narkotika di Kota Tanjungbalai. Pengungkapan kasus ini menghebohkan karena polisi berhasil menyita 117 kilogram sabu dan 20 bungkus ekstasi pada Sabtu, 27 April 2024 lalu.

Empat buronan yang masuk dalam Daftar Pencarian Orang (DPO) tersebut adalah S alias Andi, otak jaringan; P alias Kamput, T dan Ir.

Kapolda Sumut Irjen Pol. Whisnu Hermawan F. SiK., M.H melalui Kabid Humas Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi menegaskan komitmen pihaknya untuk memutus rantai peredaran narkoba di wilayah tersebut. “Tidak ada ruang bagi siapa pun yang terlibat dalam jaringan narkotika, pengguna, pengedar, hingga bandarnya. Polisi bertindak tegas,” ujar Hadi, Jumat (17/1/2025) sore.

Pengungkapan ini bermula dari laporan masyarakat pada Sabtu dini hari, 27 April 2024. Timsus Ditresnarkoba Polda Sumut menemukan pria mencurigakan menggunakan becak bermotor di Jalan Rel Kereta Api, Kelurahan Pematang Pasir, Kecamatan Teluk Nibung, Tanjungbalai. Namun, pria tersebut melarikan diri saat hendak ditangkap, meninggalkan barang bukti berupa 117 bungkus sabu dan 20 bungkus ekstasi.

Dalam pengembangan kasus, polisi menangkap beberapa jaringan. Pada 30 April 2024, I alias Iwan Lomak ditangkap di Jalan Lintas Sumatera, Desa Bandar Durian, Kabupaten Labuhan Batu Utara. Kemudian, pada 1 Mei 2024, dua tersangka lainnya, S alias Bang Le dan PS alias Panji, diamankan di Home Stay Vostel, Porsea, Kabupaten Toba. Namun, empat lainnya melarikan diri.

Polisi telah menetapkan status DPO terhadap keempat buronan tersebut. Kombes Hadi memastikan segala upaya akan dilakukan untuk menangkap mereka. “Polisi sudah mengantongi identitas dan jejak para buron ini. Tidak ada tempat aman bagi mereka atau menyerahkan diri,” tegasnya.

Polda Sumut mengajak masyarakat untuk berperan aktif dalam pemberantasan narkoba. Menurutnya, narkotika adalah musuh bersama yang menjadi sumber berbagai tindak kejahatan. “Perang melawan narkoba membutuhkan kolaborasi semua pihak, termasuk masyarakat yang berani melaporkan aktivitas mencurigakan,” ujarnya.

Kombes Hadi menegaskan, “Polda Sumut tidak akan berhenti hingga semua pelaku tertangkap. Jaringan narkoba akan kami kejar ke mana pun mereka bersembunyi,” tutupnya.***
