Medan, INVOCAVIT.COM: Polda Sumut menangkap dua kurir narkoba saat melintas mengenderai mobil warna hitam di Jalan Lintas Aek Nabara Pangkatan, Desa Perkebunan Pangkatan, Kecamatan Pangkatan, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu.
Warga yang ditangkap bernama Suherman (36) warga Kabupaten Asahan, dan Khairul Jefri (27) warga Kota Tanjungbalai.Dati kedua tersangka disita 15 kg sabu.
Berdasarkan pemeriksaan barang bukti sabu diperoleh dari seseorang berinisial IFH.
Direktur Narkoba Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Jean Calvijn Simanjuntak, mengatakan penangkapan berawal dari informasi masyarakat tentang adanya pengiriman narkoba menuju Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal. Petugas langsung melakukan pengejaran hingga berhasil meringkus kedua tersangka.
“Awalnya tim mendapat informasi masyarakat ada pengantaran narkoba mengarah Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal. Dilakukan pengejaran dan berhasil ditangkap,” katanya, Jumat (3/10).
Kedua pelaku dalam perannya disuruh untuk diantarkan kepada seorang inisial PC di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal dengan dijanjikan upah Rp67,5 juta setelah barang sampai tujuan.
Dari pengungkapan itu, Calvijn mengungkapkan polisi menyita 15 kg sabu dalam kemasan plastik kuning berlogo Nian Nian You Yu, satu unit mobil, dua unit ponsel, tas ransel hitam dan tas sandang.
“Berdasarkan interogasi barang bukti diambil di Aek Nabara dan akan diantar ke Madina atas kendali IFH di Asahan,” ungkapnya bahwa IFH telah masuk dalam daftar pencarian orang (DPO).
“Keduanya sudah tiga kali melakukan penyelundupan narkotika sepanjang 2025, dengan modus yang sama. Mereka dijanjikan upah sebesar Rp4,5 juta per kilogram sabu,” ujar Calvijn terhadap kedua pelaku sudah ditahan di Mapolda Sumut.(jos).
