Jakarta, INVICAVIT.COM: Komisi XIII DPR RI mengadakan Rapat Dengar Pendapat (RDP) dengan Dirjen Kekayaan Intelektual (KI) Kementerian Hukum Republik Indonesia (RI) yang berlangsung di Ruang Rapat Komisi XIII Gedung Nusantara II Lt.3, Jakarta, Rabu (27/8).
Adapun agenda pembahasan RDP terkait Implementasi Pelakasanaan Tugas dan Fungsi Ditjen KI dalam melakukan Perlindungan dan Penegakan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual.
Kombes. Pol. (Purn). Dr. Maruli Siahaan, SH., MH selaku anggota Komisi XIII DPR RI Partai Golkar Dapil Sumut I yang hadir dalam kesempatan itu memberikan sejumlah rekomendasi yang mengemuka dalam rapat tersebut antara lain:
A. Royalti Musik.
1. Moratorium Parsial.
Dalam hal ini, Maruli menegaskan agar melakukan penundaan penerapan royalti untuk UMKM sampai sistem digital nasional siap. Dan pungutan hanya difokuskan pada usaha besar seperti hotel, EO dan pusat perbelanjaan.
2. Audit LMKN.

Maruli melihat terjadinya pembajakan sehingga perlu Kolaborasi DJKI-Kominfo-Polri menutup situs bijakan, bukan hanya blokir sementara.
