MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Polrestabes Medan menangkap seorang pelaku tawuran yang mengakibatkan seorang remaja meninggal dunia serta mengamankan 4 pelaku tawuran lainnya.
“Pelaku yang ditangkap itu MY (18) saat ini telah ditahan di Mapolsek Medan Labuhan untuk menjalani pemeriksaan,” kata Kabid Humas Poldasu Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, Selasa (26/3).
Hadi menegaskan para pelaku tawuran anak di bawah umur yang meresahkan masyarakat saat menjalankan aktivitas tetap diproses hukum
“Pelaku tawuran yang rata-rata pelakunya anak di bawah umur tetap kita proses hukum sesuai aturan yang berlaku,” tegas mantan Kapolres Biak Papua tersebut.
Ia mengungkapkan, Polda Sumut dan jajaran terus meningkatkan patroli untuk mengantisipasi terjadi tawuran antar kelompok remaja sehingga situasi kamtibmas tetap terjaga aman dan kondusif.
“Dengan hadirnya polisi masyarakat dapat merasa aman dan nyaman saat menjalanlan aktivitasnya terutama di Bulan Suci Ramadan,” ungkapnya seraya menyebutkan
Pada kesempatan ini, Hadi mengimbau kepada seluruh orang tua untuk selalu mengawasi setiap kegiatan anak-anaknya ketika berada di luar rumah. “Jangan sampai anak-anak saat berada di luar melakukan perbuatan yang mengganggu ketertiban umum,” pungkasnya.
Sebelumnya, tawuran antar remaja dan pemuda kembali terjadi di Jalan Selebes Belawan. Dimana kelompok remaja warga Gang 6 bergangbung dengan remaja Gang 7 melawan seterunya kelompok Gang 10 Jalan Selebes yang masih satu Kelurahan Belawan ll.
Seorang warga Jalan Selebes Gang 9 Belawan, Rusdi, yang melihat situasi mengatakan, kedua kelompok remaja ini bentrok dengan menggunakan senjata tajam, saling kejar kejaran ditengah Jalan dan saling melempar batu dan botol. Itu terjadi menjelang berbuka puasa dan sholat Terawih pada Kamis malam (21/03/2024) sekitar pukul 18.30 wib.
Akibat bentrok kedua kelompok tersebut ditengah Jalan, banyàk warga yang akan melaksanakan Sholat magrib di Masjid menjadi batal takut terkena sasaran lemparan batu dan botol kaca.
Lurah Belawan ll Kecamatan Medan Belawan Kota Medan, Sarima Pulungan, meminta kepada kedua orang tua kelompok remaja yang anak anaknya terlibat tawuran agar meredam anak anaknya dimalam hari.(jos).
