Selama 8 Hari Memimpin, 87 Pelaku Kejahatan Ditangkap Polrestabes Medan

Medan, INVOCAVIT.COM: Tim Polrestabes Medan bersama polsek jajaran mengungkap 61 kasus kejahatan begal, narkoba, rayap besi (Pencuri besi) dalam kurun waktu delapan hari terhitung sejak 9-17 Oktober 2025 di wilayah Kota Medan, sekitarnya.

Dari pengungkapan puluhan berbagai kasus kejahatan itu aparat kepolisian berhasil menangkap sebanyak 87 pelaku dan telah ditahan untuk mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatanya.

Kapolrestabes Medan, Kombes Pol Calvijn Simanjuntak, mengatakan untuk rincian kasus kejahatan yang berhasil diungkap itu yakni empat kasus begal dengan enam tersangka. Kasus rayap besi sebanyak 26 kasus dengan 42 orang tersangka.

Kemudian, kasus narkoba sebanyak 29 kasus dengan 36 orang tersangka. Untuk barang bukti sabu seberat 8,05 kg, ganja 2,60 gram, besi, tiang, becak barang, senjata tajam, sepeda motor, serta lainnya. Sementara untuk kasus kekerasan terhadap kaum rentan sebanyak dua kasus dengan diamankan tiga orang tersangka.

“Pengungkapan kasus ini menindaklanjuti keluhan masyarakat Kota Medan yang resah maraknya aksi pencurian besi (rayap besi), begal, serta narkoba di Kota Medan,” katanya, Sabtu (18/10).

Ia mengungkapkan, Polrestabes Medan bersama polsek jajaran terus bekerja secara maksimal menciptakan rasa aman, nyaman bagi masyarakat di Kota Medan dan sekitarnya saat menjalankan aktivitasnya.

“Pada kesempatan ini saya meminta dukungan kepada masyarakat agar bisa konsisten menciptakan situasi kamtibmas di Kota Medan tetap aman dan kondusif,” harapnya.***
