“Keputusan Presiden Prabowo tepat untuk mengakhiri polemik. Kita ucapkan terima kasih kepada Bapak Presiden Prabowo Subianto. Keputusan ini sudah tepat agar polemik yang terjadi tidak berlarut-larut. Keputusan ini menjadi akhir polemik empat pulau tersebut,” kata Sugiat Santoso kepada wartawan lewat pesannya, pada Selasa (17/6/2025).
Sekretaris DPD Partai Gerindra Sumut ini berharap polemik ini selesai dan semua pihak fokus mendukung program Prabowo untuk kemajuan bangsa. “Saya mengajak semua pihak agar menghentikan perdebatan dan kembali bekerja mensejahterakan rakyat Aceh dan Sumatera Utara,” ujarnya.
Perdebatan soal empat pulau sudah berakhir, mari kita fokus lagi mendukung program Bapak Presiden untuk mensejahterakan rakyat. Semua pihak harus bergotong-royong demi terwujudnya Indonesia yang maju dan sejahtera,” kata Wakil Ketua Komisi XIII DPR RI ini.
Disisi lain, Anggota DPR RI dari Dapil Sumatera Utara III ini juga memuji peran Wakil Ketua DPR RI Sufmi Dasco Ahmad yang terus mengawal persoalan ini hingga akhir. Dikatakannya, Bang Dasco mengawal polemik ini bisa dituntaskan lebih cepat lewat keputusan Presiden agar perdebatan tidak berlarut-larut.
“Apresiasi juga untuk Bang Dasco yang mengawal persoalan empat pulau ini. Dukungan dari Pimpinan DPR membuat persoalan ini lebih cepat dituntaskan oleh pemerintah dan persoalan tidak berlarut-larut. Sekali lagi, mari fokus bekerja untuk menyukseskan program Presiden dan Wakil Presiden demi mensejahterakan rakyat,” ajak Sugiat Santoso, yang juga Ketua Umum Ikatan Alumni Magister Studi Pembangunan (IKA MSP) FISIP USU.
Sebelumnya diberitakan, Pemerintah sudah memutuskan sengketa 4 pulau yang diperebutkan Pemprov Sumatera Utara (Sumut) dan Aceh. Presiden Prabowo Subianto memutuskan 4 pulau itu sah milik Pemprov Aceh.
Pernyataan tersebut disampaikan dalam konferensi pers Mensesneg Prasetyo Hadi di Kantor Presiden, Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta, pada Selasa (17/6/2025), yang juga dihadiri Wakil Ketua DPR Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Mendagri Tito Karnavian, Gubernur Sumut Bobby Nasution, dan Gubernur Aceh Muzakir Manaf (Mualem).
Mensesneg Prasetyo Hadi mengatakan, berdasarkan dokumen dan data pendukung telah diambil keputusan. Pemerintah mengambil keputusan 4 pulau itu sah milik Pemprov Aceh.
“Berdasarkan laporan dari Kemendagri, berdasarkan dokumen data pendukung, kemudian tadi Bapak Presiden telah memutuskan bahwa pemerintah berlandaskan kepada dasar-dasar dokumen yang dimiliki pemerintah telah mengambil keputusan bahwa keempat pulau, yaitu Pulau Panjang, Pulau Lipan, kemudian Pulau Mangkir Gadang, dan Pulau Mangkir Ketek, secara administrasi berdasarkan dokumen yang dimiliki pemerintah adalah masuk wilayah administrasi Aceh,” tegas Mensesneg Prasetyo.***
