MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Akibat terjadinya kegaduhan di tengah-tengah masyarakat (publik), Enam Mahasiswa Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) dilaporkan ke Mapolrestabes Medan, diduga menyebar berita bohong terkait temuan mayat di Kampus UNPRI Medan.
“Kita melaporkan enam orang mahasiswa UNPRI ke Polrestabes Medan,” kata pelapor Fazarman Baene didampingi sejumlah pengacara yang tergabung dalam Aliansi Advokat Stop Hoaks, Jumat (15/12/2023) malam.
Fazarman mengungkapkan, klarifikasi melalui media sosial yang disampaikan mahasiswa UNPRI mengenai penemuan mayat yang menyebut itu merupakan manikin (boneka-red) telah menimbulkan kegaduhan di kalangan masyarakat.
“Nyatanya polisi telah membuktikan dan menemukan adanya lima mayat di dalam kampus UNPRI tersebut. Hal ini jelas mahasiswa itu telah menyebar berita bohong,” pungkasnya.
Karenanya saya didampingi beberapa advokat melaporkan kasus berita bohong soal temuan mayat itu ke Mapolrestabes Medan,” ujar Fazarman.
Sebelumnya, diketahui media sosial diramaikan adanya klarifikasi dari mahasiswa Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) mengenai dugaan temuan mayat di Kampus UNPRI Medan yang berlokasi di Jalan Sampul, pada Selasa (12/12/2023).
Dari rekaman video yang diposting melalui akun Tiktok @yuhuyy_09 bahwa dugaan temuan mayat di Kampus UNPRI itu tidak benar (hoax).
“Kami mahasiswa UNPRI dan rekan Harianto menyatakan temuan itu bukan mayat tetapi boneka,” ucap seorang mahasiswa saat menyampaikan klarifikasi melalui medsos tersebut.
Mahasiswa juga menyampaikan permohonan maaf atas beredarnya video mengenai temuan mayat di Kampus UNPRI sehingga membuat keresahan di masyarakat.
“Demikian pernyataan ini kami buat secara sadar dan tanpa paksaan. Kami mohon maaf,” ucap ke-enam mahasiswa UNPRI Medan tersebut. (kcu)
