INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN-  Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan managerial sosial kultural, para lurah se Kota Medan mendapat pelatihan kepamongprajaan.

 

Pelatihan itu dilakukan Pemko Medan melalui Badan Kepegawaian Daerah dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKD&PSDM). Acara dibuka oleh Wali Kota Medan Bobby Nasution diwakili Asisten Pemerintahan dan Sosial Setda Kota Medan M. Sofyan dengan ditandai penyematan tanda peserta secara simbolis.

 

“Sebagai Lurah harus memiliki kemampuan melaksanakan tata kelolah teknis Pemerintahan sekaligus memiliki kemampuan sosial kultural yang baik, serta mental yang tangguh untuk menyelenggarakan tupoksi. Oleh karena itu pelatihan ini sangatlah strategis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan manajerial para Lurah sehingga semakin lebih baik,” tegas M.Sofyan.

 

Sofyan menekankan, kompetensi manajerial saudara sebagai Lurah haruslah terus dikembangkan. Saudara harus mampu merencanakan, mengorganisasikan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi program kegiatan kerja saudara sehingga apa yang menjadi tugas dan fungsi dapat dijalankan dengan baik.

 

“Di era keterbukaan informasi saat ini, kita tidak dapat menutup diri terhadap kritikan masyarakat yang tidak lagi segan berpendapat dan mengutarakan harapanya ke publik baik secara langsung maupum media sosial yang bisa diakses oleh masyarakat luas. Untuk itulah kemampuan manajerial, teknis, sosial kultural harus menjadi satu kesatuan kompetensi yang harus di miliki seorang Lurah,” imbuhnya.

 

Sebelumnya Plt Kaban BKD&PSDM Kota Medan Sutan Tolang Lubis dalam laporanya menjelaskan tujuan dilaksanakanya pelatihan Kepamongprajaan bagi para Lurah ialah guna meningkatkan kompetensi Lurah dibidang Kepamongprajaan dalam membangun kepemimpinan yang berkarakter kepamongan untuk mewujudkan good local governance.

“Pelatihan ini berlangsung selama lima hari pada tanggal 26 September sampai 07 Oktober 2022, dibagi kedalam dua angkatan periodik waktu pelatihan sehingga terjalin sinergi antara kerja Lurah dengan optimalisasi kegiatan pelatihan.”Jelas Sutan Tolang Lubis.

Dalam pelatihan ini juga menghadirkan tenaga pengajar dari BPSDM Kemendagri. (hpm)
