INVOCAVIT.COM, JAKARTA- Alena Richelle Pardosi, siswi Kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar Santo Yoseph Sidikalang, Kabupaten Dairi ini tampil memukau di hadapan Presiden, para Menteri, Kepala Daerah, dan Forkopimda se-Indonesia pada Rakornas di Bogor, Jawa Barat, Senin (16/1/2023).
Bupati Dairi Eddy Keleng Ate Berutu yang hadir pada Rakornas tersebut mengaku sangat bangga menyaksikan penampilan Alena Richelle Pardosi yang memperagakan keterampilan metode berhitung Gasing (Gampang Asik dan Menyenangkan).
Alena Richelle Pardosi, siswi asal Kabupaten Dairi itu dikirim Bupati Eddy Keleng Ate Berutu melalui Pemkab Dairi untuk bersama Prof. Yohanes Surya, penemu metode Gampang Asik dan Menyenangkan (Gasing).
Sebagaimana diketahui, beberapa waktu lalu, tepatnya tanggal 2 Oktober 2022 Alena Richelle Pardosi mengikuti pelatihan metode Gasing di Taman Wisata Iman (TWI) Kabupaten Dairi.
Menurutnya, Alena Richelle Pardosi terlihat mahir menghitung cepat penambahan, perkalian bahkan pangkat dari angka-angka beberapa desimal dengan cepat, dapat diselesaikan dengan baik oleh seluruh anak-anak dan membuat kagum peserta Rakornas.
“Saya juga saksikan langsung peserta Rakornas memberikan tepuk tangan meriah untuk Alena Richelle Pardosi dan anak siswa SD lainnya,” ujar Bupati.
Kata Bupati, atas kemahiran dan semangat Alena dapat memacu semangat ribuan pelajar SD rekan-rekannya di Kabupaten Dairi, untuk lebih giat berlatih metode gasing, agar semua anak-anak di Kabupaten Dairi pintar dan gemar matematika. Terlebih pada era digital, ilmu keterampilan berhitung sangat diperlukan.
“Matematika adalah dasar keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk bisa sukses di era digital ini. Saat ini berbagai tuntutan kemajuan zaman yang membutuhkan skill/ intelegensi on thing, robotik intelijen artificial and lock change dan lain lain,” sebut Bupati.
Program metode Gasing di Kabupaten Dairi, sebut Bupati, disusun bersama Prof. Yohannes Surya serta Dinas Pendidikan. Program itu menurutnya untuk mewujudkan upaya gemar matematika di kalangan siswa-siswi Kabupaten Dairi dan sudah memulai sejak Tahun 2022.
“Dan puji Tuhan inilah hasilnya, Alena berhasil menunjukkan kebolehannya dalam berhitung di depan Presiden, Menteri dan Forkompinda di Sentul Internasional Convention Centre, Bogor. Salut,” jelasnya.
Wujud Visi Misi Dairi Cerdas
Bupati Dairi menjelaskan, program Gemar berhitung ini, secara perlahan misi mewujudkan Dairi Cerdas yang menjadi misi Kabupaten Dairi dapat terwujud.
“Ini bukti kecil, ‘Gemar Berhitung’ telah berhasil membuat siswa untuk cinta dengan matematika. Siswa menjadi sangat nyaman dan bahagia, senang belajar matematika, sehingga melahirkan siswa yang cerdas. Saya sangat bangga, siswi Kabupaten Dairi berhasil tampil pada acara bergengsi ini,” ujarnya semangat.
Yang tidak kalah membanggakan, sebutnya, tahun ini Kabupaten Dairi akan menjadi tuan rumah pelaksanaan olimpiade Matematika se-Asia. Hal itu disampaikan langsung oleh Prof. Yohanes Surya dalam kegiatan tersebut. (gni)
