Serdang Bedagai, INVOCAVIT.COM – Suasana upacara bendera di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Beringin, Serdang Bedagai (Sergai), Sumatera Utara, terasa berbeda dan penuh inspirasi, kehadiran anggota Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) sebagai pembina upacara, bersama para mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Negeri Medan (Unimed) sebagai peserta, menandai kolaborasi apik dalam upaya mendorong kemajuan dunia pendidikan, Senin (28/7/2025).

Dalam amanatnya, perwakilan Polri sampaikan imbauan untuk terus meningkatkan potensi diri dan meraih prestasi. Para pelajar juga ditekankan untuk proaktif mengikuti kegiatan positif, serta menjauhi bahaya narkoba dan pergaulan negatif lainnya yang dapat merusak masa depan. Pesan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pembentukan karakter yang kuat dan positif sejak dini.

Tak kalah penting, para mahasiswa KKN Unimed turut memberikan edukasi dan motivasi agar para pelajar SMA melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi. Berbagi gambaran tentang dunia kampus dan memberikan informasi mengenai berbagai beasiswa kuliah yang tersedia, membuka cakrawala baru bagi para siswa untuk meraih pendidikan yang lebih tinggi.

Usai upacara, momen haru dan bangga menyelimuti lapangan ketika pengurus OSIS Yongki Pratama Sinaga, memanggil beberapa nama pelajar peraih prestasi tampil ke depan dengan tampilan ikat kepala tunjak ciri khas budaya melayu. Kepala Sekolah Juni Siswanto, didampingi Wakasek Leman, bersama dengan Wakapolsek Ipda Brimen, dan perwakilan mahasiswa KKN Unimed, serta para Guru, secara bergantian menyerahkan piagam penghargaan dan uang pembinaan.

“Pendekatan edukatif ini sangat penting untuk membentuk karakter anak-anak kita agar menghargai norma hukum, norma susila, dan norma agama. Kita dukung optimal pelajar kita raih prestasi,” ujar Kepsek Juni Siswanto.

Adapun nama siswa prestasi diantaranya, M.Akbar atlet Taekwondo Juara 1 Kejurda Sumut, M.Riski Zahril atlet Taekwondo Juara 1 Kejurda Sumut, Deni Zafikri atlet Taekwondo Juara 2 Kejurda Sumut, Nazwa Anggraini Sihombing atlet Taekwondo Juara 1 Kejurda Sumut, Ilham Lutfi Sipahutar atlet Taekwondo Juara 1 Tanding di Riau, M.Fahri Syahputra atlet Angkat Berat Juara 1 Kejurda Sergai dan juara olimpiade ekonomi Rosa Marito Siagian.

Pemberian apresiasi ini diharapkan dapat semakin memacu semangat para siswa untuk terus berkarya dan berprestasi. Kepsek Juni menambahkan bahwa kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai positif dan mendidik para pelajar agar lebih peduli dan berperan aktif di masyarakat.

Sinergi antara lembaga pendidikan dan aparat penegak hukum, didukung oleh semangat mahasiswa, menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan generasi muda yang tidak hanya cerdas secara akademik, tetapi juga berkarakter dan berintegritas.***
