INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN –  Kebakaran hebat terjadi di Jalan Selamat Gang Amal, Kel Sitirejo III, Kec Medan Amplas, Sumatera Utara, Selasa (18/4) sekira pukul 06.00 wib.

 

 

Satu unit rumah bertingkar dua yang dihuni satu keluarga rata dengan tanah. Bahkan, 6 orang ditemukan tewas terpanggang dan dua lainnya luka bakar.  Para korban segera dievakuasi ke RS Bhayangkara. Rumah tersebut milik  Sugiman  (55).

 

 

Kapolsek Patumbak melalui Kasi Humas, Aipda R. Manurung kepada wartawan membenarkan peristiwa kebakaran rumah bertingkat dua tersebut.

 

Dia mengatakan, ke 6 penghuni rumah yang tewas terbakar masing-masing,  Bambang Pratama (28), Ayu Sekar Wangi (17), M. Bima Daka (16), Mena  Zaswari (13), Daivet Nur Anazam (11), Syamsudin Lukman (5). Sedangkan 2  orang yang mengalami luka bakar diantaranya,  Riski May Sarah (27), dan Suci Atika (25).

 

 

Aipda R. Manurung mengatakan, hingga saat ini pihaknya masih melakukan penyelidikan motif terjadinya kebakaran tersebut.

 

“Tim Inafis dan Labfor sudah turun ke lokasi kebakaran olah TKP dan saat ini masih melakukan penyelidikan motif terjadinya kebakaran,” katanya.

 

Sementara informasi dilapangan menyebutkan, api mulai muncul secara tiba-tiba dari lantai I. Dalam hitungan detik, api semakin membesar dan mengeluarkan asap tebal, sehingga penghuni rumah yang berada di lantai II tidak dapat turun menelusuri tangga. Akibatnya, ke enam korban tak dapat menyelamatkan diri hingga akhirnya terpanggang.

 

Sementara penghuni dilantai satu sempat menyelamatkan diri walau mengalamu luka bakar yang cukup serius.

 

Selain merenggut korban jiwa, pemilik rumah juga kehilangan barang-barang. Kerugian materil diperkirakan ratusan juta rupiah.(jos).
