Peristiwa yang diduga dipicu oleh korsleting listrik ini terjadi sekitar pukul 00.30 WIB dan menimbulkan kerugian materiil yang ditaksir mencapai Rp600.000.000. Polres Tanjungbalai Amankan TKP untuk membantu Proses Pemadaman.

Kehadiran cepat aparat kepolisian memastikan area kebakaran steril dari warga yang tidak berkepentingan, mencegah potensi penjarahan, serta membantu mengamankan akses bagi mobil pemadam kebakaran.
