Petugas PLN tengah bekerja untuk mengaliri listrik di tiga desa di Kecamatan Susua, Kabupaten Nias. (Ist)
INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN – Sebanyak tiga desa yang tersebar di Kecamatan Susua, Kabupaten Nias, mendapatkan penerangan listrik dari PLN Unit Induk Distribusi (UID) Sumatera Utara.
Kehadiran listrik di desa terpencil yang masuk dalam daerah 3T (Terdepan, Terluar, Tertinggal) ini membantu masyarakat dalam menikmati berbagai kemudahan dalam membangun ekonomi keluarga.
Desa yang dialiri ini adalah Desa Hilizamorugo, Desa Hilidanayao dan Desa Sifalago, Kecamatan Susua. Acara tersebut dipimpin Manager Unit Pelaksana Pelayanan Pelanggan (UP3) Nias, Ramses Hutajulu, didampingi Bupati Nias Selatan, Hilarius Duha, beserta tokoh masyarakat dan pemuka agama.
Manager UP3 Nias, Ramses Hutajulu, mengatakan PLN terus berkomitmen untuk melistriki negeri. Untuk itu, PLN perlu bersinergi dengan pemerintah daerah untuk secara aktif berkoordinasi dengan PLN demi mewujudkan Kepulauan Nias terang.
“Pada bulan Ramadhan 1444H, PLN berhasil menerangi tiga desa dengan total pelanggan sebanyak 254 Kepala Keluarga. Keberhasilan ini tidak terlepas dari dukungan dan kolaborasi yang baik dengan pemerintah daerah. Tiga desa ini merupakan desa yang masuk dalam daerah 3T,” ujar Ramses.
Guna menghadirkan listrik di tiga desa tersebut. PLN berhasil membangun jaringan tegangan menengah sepanjang 13 Kilo Meter Sirkuit (KMS), jaringan tegangan rendah sepanjang 12 Kilo Meter Sirkuit (KMS), gardu distribusi sebanyak 3 unit dengan kapasitas 50 Kilo Volt Ampere (kVA) dan 100 Kilo Volt Ampere (kVA).
Ia juga menjelaskan dalam proses pembangunan listrik desa, mendapatkan beberapa tantangan, seperti sulitnya akses jalan hingga melewati tiga sungai. Namun tantangan tersebut dapat dilalui oleh petugas PLN berkat bantuan dari masyarakat, yang secara bahu membahu membantu petugas PLN memobilisasi material.
Bupati Nias Selatan, Hilarius Duha mengungkapkan rasa terima kasih kepada PLN yang telah menghadirkan listrik di tiga desa ini. Semoga ke depannya seluruh desa yang ada di Kabupaten Nias dapat menikmati layanan listrik dari PLN.
“Terima kasih kepada PLN karena telah melistriki tiga desa kami, akhirnya masyarakat di desa ini dapat menikmati listrik dari PLN,” jelas Hilarius.
Di tempat terpisah, General Manager PLN UID Sumut, Awaluddin Hafid, menyampaikan apresiasi atas capaian ini dan berterima kasih pada seluruh pemangku kepentingan yang turut mendukung program listrik desa ini.
Awaluddin berharap, dengan hadirnya listrik PLN di tiga desa ini akan memberikan dampak positif kepada masyarakat dalam menjalankan aktivitas sehari-hari.
“PLN akan terus konsisten dalam pembangunan infrastruktur kelistrikan dan melayani kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap listrik sebagai penopang roda perekonomian masyarakat mulai dari perkotaan hingga ke pelosok desas,” ujar Awaluddin. (rel).
