MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Polri telah mempersiapkan 4 jalur alternatif untuk kendaraan  yang akan melalui jalur  Medan dan Berastagi, Kabupaten Tanah Karo.

“Ada empat jalur alternatif untuk kendaraan kecil atau pribadi. Itu nanti ada di bawah Sembahe. Itu bisa tembus di atasnya Tirtanadi. Terus ada juga dari Tuntungan,” terang Direktur Lantas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Muji Ediyanto didampingi Kabid Humas, Kombes Pol Hadi Wahyudi, Senin (2/12/2024).

Sementara, untuk kendaraan besar disarankan agar melintasi jalur Pematang Siantar.

“Ada juga sebenarnya lewat Binjai kemudian Langkat. Namun demikian, untuk kendaraan berat kita sarankan melewati Siantar,” ujarnya.

Kata Muji, pihaknya bersama instansi terkait terus melakukan pemantauan terhadap situasi Jalan Medan-Berastagi.

“Rekan-rekan tetap melaksanakan kegiatan patroli, memantau dan memberikan imbauan. Jadi seperti yang kami sampaikan kemarin saat rapat, jalan ini dibuka tetapi dengan catatan,” kata Muji.

Dia mengaku, pihaknya selalu berkoordinasi dengan Balai Jalan Nasional yang hari ini membuka pos pantau di satu titik di lokasi tersebut. Kepolisian juga juga berkoordinasi dengan rekan-rekan dari BMKG.

“Artinya, jika cuaca buruk, hujan lebat, dengan beberapa pertimbangan yang kita koordinasikan dengan instansi terkait, itu kita tutup sementara. Kita alihkan untuk menghindari hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan,” ujarnya.

Seperti diketahui, Jalan Medan-Berastagi kembali dibuka pada Senin (2/12/2024) pukul 09.00 WIB, pasca longsor di Desa Sembahe, Kecamatan Sibolangit, Kabupaten Deliserdang pada Rabu (27/11/2024) dinihari itu.***
