Medan, INVOCAVIT.COM; Majelis Hakim Pengadilan Negeri Medan diketuai Ety Astuti beranggotakan Lucas Sahabat Duha dan Denny Syahputra menjatuhkan hukuman 18 tahun penjara terhadap Dr Tiromsi Sitanggang (58) warga Jalan Gaperta 137 Medan karena terbukti membunuh suaminya Rusman Maralen Situngkir, Kamis (17/7/2025)
Hukuman tersebut dibacakan Majelis Hakim dihadapan Jaksa Penuntut Umum( JPU) Syarifah dan Rahmayani yang sebelumnya menuntut mati terdakwa yang berprofesi Notaris dan Dosen tersebut.
Dalam amar putusannya Majelis hakim meyakini terdakwa Tiromsi terbukti melanggar pasal 340 Jo pasal 55 KUHP yakni menghilangkan nyawa Rusman Situngkir bersama Griffa Sihotang, sopir terdakwa yang saat ini melarikan diri
Hakim mempertingkan hal yang memberatkan bahwa terdakwa tega menghilangkan nyawa suaminya sendiri, tidak mengakui perbuatannya. Apalagu yerdkswa seorang Notaris dan Dosen yang mengerti soal hukum
Sedangkan hal yang meringankan, terdakwa sudah berusia lanjut dan mempunyai tanggungjawab atas dua anak yang masih butuh pendidikan.
Atas putusan hakim tersebut, terdakwa langsung mengajukan banding karena menilai putusan tersebut terlalu

Diketahui , terdakwa Dr. Tiromsi Sitanggang merencanakan pembunuhan terhadap suaminya sejak Februari 2024.
Menurut Jaksa, hubungan rumah tangga pasangan tersebut tidak harmonis. Korban pernah mengalami kekerasan fisik dan menceritakan kepada saksi bahwa dirinya sering diberi makanan basi oleh terdakwa.
Peristiwa pembunuhan itu terjadi pada Jumat, 22 Maret 2024, antara pukul 10.00 hingga 12.00 WIB di kediaman mereka di Jalan Gaperta, Kelurahan Helvetia Tengah, Kecamatan Medan Helvetia, Kota Medan.
Menurut Jaksa, terdakwa diduga bersekongkol dengan Grippa Sihotang yang kini masuk dalam daftar pencarian orang (DPO). Pada pagi hari kejadian, Grippa Sihotang tiba di rumah terdakwa dan sempat berbicara empat mata dengan Dr. Tiromsi.
Dugaan pembunuhan semakin kuat setelah dilakukan autopsi terhadap jenazah korban pada 27 April 2024 di RS Bhayangkara.
Berdasarkan hasil visum et repertum Nomor 29/IV/2024, korban mengalami pendarahan hebat di rongga kepala akibat trauma benda tumpul, yang menyebabkan kematian akibat mati lemas.
Selain itu, hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium kriminalistik yang dilakukan pada 31 Juli 2024 menunjukkan adanya bercak darah di dalam kamar korban, yang identik dengan darah Rusman Maralen Situngkir.
Setelah kematian korban, pada 20 April 2024, terdakwa mengajukan klaim asuransi ke PT Prudential Life Assurance dengan alasan suaminya meninggal akibat kecelakaan lalu lintas.
Dalam pengajuan klaim, terdakwa menyertakan dokumen seperti buku polis, KTP, kartu keluarga, akta pernikahan, serta rekam medis dari Rumah Sakit Advent. Namun, beberapa dokumen penting seperti laporan polisi, akta kematian, dan hasil visum belum dilengkapi.
Saat PT Prudential Life Assurance melakukan verifikasi lapangan, mereka tidak menemukan bukti adanya kecelakaan lalu lintas sebagaimana yang diklaim terdakwa. Akibatnya, klaim asuransi senilai Rp500 juta belum dicairkan.
Selain itu, jaksa juga mengungkap bahwa terdakwa beberapa kali berusaha menghalangi penyelidikan. Pada 28 Maret 2024, ia mendatangi saksi Anggiat Situngkir dan memintanya menjadi mediator agar keluarga korban mencabut laporan polisi.
Hal serupa dilakukan terdakwa pada 16 April 2024 saat menemui saksi Marasi Manihuruk di Kabupaten Dairi, dengan tujuan yang sama.(mp)
