Akan menerima Anugerah Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI). Anugerah tersebut akan diberikan pada acara Hari Pers Nasional (HPN) tahun 2024 di Jakarta.
Hal itu diketahui berdasarkan surat Panitia HPN 2024 PWI Pusat yang diterima Ketua PWI Sumut, H. Farianda Putra Sinik, SE, di Medan, Sabtu (23/12/2023).
Dalam surat bernomor 016/PWI-P/HPN2024/XII/2023 tertanggal 22 Desember 2024 itu disebutkan, Anugerah PWI itu akan diserahkan pada acara HPN 2024 tanggal 9 Februari 2024.
Penyerahan Anugerah PWI itu akan disaksikan Presiden Rl, sejumlah Menteri Kabinet Indonesia Maju, para Duta Besar negara sahabat, para undangan serta pengurus PWI seluruh lndonesia.
Dalam surat yang ditandatangani Ketua Panitia M. Selamet Susanto, Ketua Anugerah PWI 2024 Dheny Kurnia dan Ketua Umum PWI Pusat selaku Penanggungjawab, Hendry Ch Bangun itu, juga meminta Bupati Tapsel dan Bupati Simalungun hadir ke Kantor PWI Pusat, Jalan Kebon Sirih Jakarta pada, Kamis (4/1/2024) untuk bersilaturahmi dan pengambilan foto untuk penerbitan Majalah “Anugerah PWI” serta pembuatan video mengenai penerima anugerah.
Majalah Anugerah PWI itu akan dibagikan pada acara HPN 9 Februari 2024 dan video para penerima anugerah akan diputar sebelum penyerahan Anugerah PWI.
Ketua PWI Sumut, Farianda Putra Sinik, menyampaikan rasa terima kasihnya kepada PWI Pusat yang akan memberikan Anugerah PWI kepada Bupati Tapsel dan Bupati Simalungun.
Dari catatan yang diterima, sebut Farianda, Bupati Tapsel akan menerima Anugerah PWI di bidang lingkungan, sementara Bupati Simalungun akan menerima Anugerah PWI di bidang budaya. “Selamat kepada Bupati Tapsel dan Bupati Simalungun,” ucap Farianda.
Menurut Farianda, Anugerah PWI yang akan diterima Bupati Tapsel dan Bupati Simalungun pada acara HPN 2024 di Jakarta, menjadi motivasi atau spirit bagi kepala daerah lainnya di Sumatera Utara untuk berbakti dan berbuat yang terbaik untuk daerah yang di pimpinnya. “Ke depan, kiranya akan banyak kepala daerah di Sumut mendapatkan Anugerah PWI,” harap Farianda.(rel).
