INVOCAVIT.COM, MEDAN – Daftar Pemilih Tetap (DPT) pada Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) Tahun 2024 mendatang untuk Kota Medan sebanyak 1.853.458 orang.
Penetapan DPT itu dilakukan melalui Rapat Pleno Rekapitulasi DPT yang dilaksanakan oleh Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Kota Medan di Hotel Santika Dyandra, Rabu (21/6/2023).
Ketua KPU Kota Medan, Agussyah R Damanik menjelaskan bahwa masyarakat menggunakan hak suaranya di Pemilu 2024, tersebar di 6.933 tempat pemungutan suara (TPS) pada 151 kelurahan dan 21 kecamatan Kota Medan.
“Jumlah DPT Kota Medan, pada Pemilu 2024 mendatang berjumlah 1.853.458 orang. Terdiri dari 947.923 perempuan dan 905.535 orang laki-laki,” ujar Agussyah.
Dijelaskannya, dalam penetapan DPT tersebut, KPU Medan melakukan pencermatan bersama Bawaslu Medan. Sehingga dilaksanakan dengan baik dan profesional.
“Hasil ini selanjutnya akan kita sampaikan secara berjenjang ke KPU Provinsi dan KPU pusat,” jelas Agussyah.
Sementara itu, Komisioner KPU Kota Medan, Nana Miranti menambahkan, berdasarkan penetapan Daftar Pemilih Sementara Hasil Perbaikan Akhir (DPSHPA) yang dibawa ke dalam rapat pleno, pihaknya menemukan 1.600 jiwa lebih pemilih potensial yang sudah meninggal dunia.
“Dari jumlah itu, hanya 1 orang masih dinyatakan hidup,” kata Nana.
Selain itu, Nana mengungkapkan, berdasarkan DPSHPA tersebut pihaknya juga menemukan daftar pemilih ganda baik antar provinsi, kabupaten/kota se-Sumut dan ganda di luar negeri.
“Sementara kita mendapat tambahan Pemilih potensial dari anggota TNI dan Polri yang sudah pensiun,” ungkap Nana.
Dalam rapat pleno ini, kata Nana, terdapat 1.728 pemilih baru dan 11.818 pemilih potensial non-KTP Elektronik (e-KTP). (red).
