Kepolisian melakukan ekshumasi untuk mengungkap penyebab kematian korban sebenarnya, Minggu (24/8/2025).(ist).

Peristiwa menggegerkan terjadi Kampung Rakyat, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Selatan (Labusel), Jumat (22/8/2025).
Sesosok mayat wanita berusia 14 tahun ditemukan tergantung di tiang rumahnya. Kematian pelajar itu mengundang perhatian publik. Apalagi, perut korban terlihat membesar.
Kapolres Labusel, AKBP Aditya SP Sembiring melalui Kapolsek Kampung Rakyat, AKP M Ilham Lubis menyebutkan, berdasarkan hasil olah Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP) dan pemeriksaan medis, polisi menemukan sejumlah kejanggalan yang menimbulkan kecurigaan.
Polisi menyelidiki adanya faktor lain yang mengakibatkan kematian korban. Proses ekshumasi (penggalian jenazah) telah dilakukan kepolisian di lokasi pemakaman umum, Minggu (24/8/2025) malam.
“Meskipun hasil pemeriksaan medis sementara tidak menemukan tanda-tanda kekerasan atau penganiayaan, kondisi rahim korban yang mengalami pembesaran menimbulkan pertanyaan tentang kemungkinan adanya hubungan antara kondisi tersebut dengan kematian korban,” sebut AKP M Ilham Lubis, Minggu (24/8/2025) malam.
Atas kematian korban dan kejanggalan itu, pihak keluarga telah membuat laporan resmi ke Mapolres Labusel untuk mengungkap penyebab kematian sebenarnya.
“Polisi akan terus mendalami penyebab pasti kejadian ini. Dugaan sementara, korban meninggal akibat gantung diri karena depresi. Namun, untuk memastikan adanya unsur tindak pidana lain, penyelidikan tetap dilanjutkan,” tegas Kapolsek.
Saat ini, sampel jaringan tubuh korban juga direncanakan akan dikirim ke laboratorium patologi anatomi dr Johan, SpPA, untuk memastikan hasil pemeriksaan lebih lanjut. Kasus ini menjadi perhatian publik dan menimbulkan keprihatinan akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mental anak-anak dan remaja.***
