MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Direktorat Reserse Narkoba (Ditresnarkoba) Polda Sumatera Utara beserta jajaran berhasil mengungkap 883 kasus tindak pidana narkotika dalam kurun waktu dua bulan, mulai Januari hingga Februari 2025.

Dari pengungkapan tersebut, polisi berhasil meringkus 1.131 orang, terdiri dari 227 pengguna dan 904 orang yang terlibat dalam jaringan peredaran gelap narkoba. Jumlah ini mencerminkan komitmen kuat Polda Sumut dalam memberantas peredaran narkotika di wilayah hukumnya.

Dalam pengungkapan ini, petugas berhasil menyita berbagai jenis narkotika dengan jumlah yang cukup besar. Barang bukti yang diamankan meliputi sabu seberat 155,64 kg, ganja kering 121,64 kg, serta 27 batang pohon ganja. Selain itu, polisi juga menyita 9.617 butir pil ekstasi, 2.800 butir pil Alprazolam, 30 butir pil Happy Five, serta 34 botol ketamin.

Barang bukti tersebut diduga berasal dari jaringan narkotika yang beroperasi di dalam maupun luar wilayah Sumatera Utara hingga jaringan internasional.

Selain narkotika, polisi juga menyita sejumlah barang bukti lainnya yang diduga terkait dengan aktivitas peredaran narkoba. Di antaranya, 99 unit sepeda motor dan 14 unit mobil yang diduga digunakan untuk operasional jaringan narkoba. Selain itu, polisi juga menyita uang tunai sebesar Rp119.997.000, 383 unit ponsel atau tablet, 140 unit timbangan digital, serta 109 alat hisap sabu (bong) yang ditemukan di lokasi penangkapan.

Kapolda Sumut, Irjen. Pol. Whisnu Hermawan Februanto, S.I.K., M.H., melalui Plt. Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Yudhi Surya Markus Pinem, S.I.K., M.H., menyampaikan bahwa pengungkapan ini merupakan hasil dari kerja keras personel Ditresnarkoba Polda Sumut bersama jajaran di berbagai wilayah.

“Kami berkomitmen penuh dalam memberantas peredaran narkotika di Sumatera Utara. Tidak ada tempat bagi para pelaku kejahatan narkoba di wilayah ini,” ujar Kombes Yudhi, Sabtu (1/3/2025).

Lebih lanjut, Kombes Yudhi menegaskan bahwa Polda Sumut terus meningkatkan upaya pencegahan dan penindakan terhadap peredaran narkoba, termasuk dengan menggencarkan patroli, razia, serta penyelidikan mendalam terhadap jaringan narkotika yang masih beroperasi.

“Kami juga mengajak masyarakat untuk aktif melaporkan jika mengetahui adanya aktivitas yang mencurigakan terkait peredaran narkoba. Kolaborasi antara kepolisian dan masyarakat sangat penting dalam memutus rantai peredaran narkotika,” tambahnya.

Dengan pengungkapan besar ini, Polda Sumut berharap dapat memberikan efek jera bagi para pelaku kejahatan narkoba serta mengurangi peredaran barang haram di wilayah Sumatera Utara.

Ke depan, Polda Sumut menyatakan akan terus meningkatkan intensitas pengungkapan kasus dan penindakan guna menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan bersih dari narkotika.***
