INVOCAVIT.COM, JAKARTA – Di era pemulihan pandemi seperti sekarang ini, kebutuhan asuransi menunjukkan tren positif dimana di tahun 2022, jumlah pemegang polis dan tertanggung mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan di atas 30%. Dilansir dari situs Sehat Negeriku Kementerian Kesehatan RI mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat 396.914 kasus kanker baru di Indonesia pada tahun 2020 dimana kanker payudara dan kanker leher rahim mendominasi pada kaum wanita, sementara kanker paru paru dan kolorektal mendominasi pada pria. Bahkan estimasi dari IARC (International Agency of Cancer Research) pada tahun 2040 angka kasus kanker baru dapat mencapai 30,2 juta kasus dengan angka kematian mencapai 16,3 juta kasus]. Selain kanker, masih terdapat penyakit kritis lainnya yang juga mengkhawatirkan seperti penyakit jantung, diabetes, stroke, saraf, dan ginjal.

 

Untuk menjangkau peningkatan kebutuhan tersebut dan menimimalisir potensi risiko finansial saat terdiagnosa penyakit kritis, PT Asuransi Jiwa Generali Indonesia (Generali Indonesia) menggandeng kerjasama bancassurance dengan PT. Bank Victoria International, Tbk (Bank Victoria) serta meluncurkan proteksi jiwa dan proteksi penyakit kritis dengan manfaat pasti dan fitur unik 110% premi kembali di akhir masa pertanggungan yaitu VIP Scholar Shield dan VIP Cristal Shield.

 

Peluncuran produk dilakukan di Kantor Pusat Generali Indonesia di Jakarta, dan dihadiri oleh manajemen Generali Indonesia yaitu Edy Tuhirman selaku Chief Executive Officer yang didamping oleh Tito Edwin Hasudungan Hutabarat selaku Chief Partnership Distribution, bersama dengan direksi Bank Victoria yakni Achmad Friscantono selaku Direktur Utama dan Muhammad Rakhmadhani selaku SEVP of Change Management Office.

 

Saat peluncuran acara, Edy Tuhirman (CEO Generali Indonesia) mengungkapkan, “Awal tahun ini menjadi momentum penting untuk bisa menjangkau lebih banyak kebutuhan masyarakat, dimana gejolak pandemi sudah berangsur membaik yang diiringi dengan lonjakan penetrasi asuransi membaik.
