INVOCAVIT.COM, STABAT – Jelang Hari Raya Idul Adha 1443 H, keluarga besar H Ngogesa Sitepu menyerahkan hewan qurba ke Persatuan Wartawan Indonesia (PWI) Langkat, Sabtu (9/7) siang. Hewan qurban berupa seekor lembu itu, diserahakan oleh perwakilan H Ngogesa ke Kantor PWI di Jalan Proklamasi No 36, Kelurahan Kwala Bingai, Stabat, Kabupaten Langkat.
Kepada Ketua PWI Langkat M Darwis Sinulingga, perwakilan mantan Bupati Langkat itu menyampaikan, semoga hewan qurban itu menjadi ladang amal dan bermanfaat untuk anggota PWI dan rekan wartawan lainnya, serta masyarakat sekitar. “Semoga menjadi amal dan bermanfaat untuk kita semua,” ketus perwakilan H Ngogesa, yang biasa disapa Opung itu.
Atas pemberian itu, Darwis mengucapkan terima kasih yang sebesar – besarnya kepada keluarga besar H Ngogesa. Dia berharap, agar hewan qurban itu nantinya dapat bermanfaat bagi insan pers, khususnya anggota PWI Langkat.
“Terima kasih kepada H Ngogesa Sitepu. Semoga menjadi ladang amal bagi keluarga besar beliau. Dengan momentum Idul Adha tahun ini, semoga kita semua dapat mengambil iktibar untuk meraih ketaqwaan dan sebagai bentuk ketaatan kepada Allah SWT,” ujar pria yang biasa disapa Yong itu.
Rencananya, hewan qurban tersebut akan disembelih besok selepas Shalat Idul Adha. Nantinya, daiging qurban akan segera dibagikan kepada anggota PWI, beberapa rekan wartawan non PWI dan warga sekitar. “Inya Allah besok kita sembelih dan segera kita bagikan,” tandasnya. (Ahmad)
