Itu sesuai dengan temanya: Langkat Berbudaya, Pariwisata Bangkit, UMKM Maju.
Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir dan Menteri Perdagangan Zulkifli Hasan turut hadiri resepsi. Tiga artis nasional, Eko Patrio, Uya Kuya dan Pasha Ungu juga datang. Juga hadir Anggota DPR RI Rudi Hartono, Delia Pratiwi Br Sitepu dan Nasril Bahar. Serta sejumlah kepada daerah di Sumut.
Melihat peningkatan UMKM di Langkat, mereka sepakat mendukung kepemimpinan Plt Bupati Langkat Syah Afandin terus menakhodai negeri bertuah hingga 2029 mendatang.
Syah Afandin mengucapkan terimakasih atas kehadiran dan dukungan duo menteri, serta tiga artis nasional tersebut. Dirinya pun menjelaskan Menteri Perdagangan Zulkifli Hasan mampu menurunkan harga minyak goreng disaat warga terjepit dengan tingginya harga minyak goreng.
“Ini semata-mata kepedulian Pak Zulkifli kepada rakyat Indonesia. Saya mewakili warga Langkat mengucapkan terimakasih,” sebutnya.
Afandin juga berterimakasih atas hadiah yang diberikan Menteri BUMN Erick Thohir bersama Yayasan BUMN untuk Indonesia. Berupa alat kesehatan: dua (2) unit ventilator dari Newyork Amerika, empat (4) unit oxygen concentrator, serta 2.000 pcs masker kain.
“Terimakasih untuk bantuan alat kesehatannya, serta dukungan terhadap pelaku UMKM di Langkat, salah satunya rencana pembangunan minyak goreng merah,” ujarnya. Juga berterimakasih kepada tiga artis yang telah bernyanyi menghibur warga, hingga suasana HUT Langkat penuh keceriaan.
Erick Thohir mengaku bangga Langkat menjadi kabupaten pertama yang akan memiliki pabrik minyak goreng merah. Ini berkat sinergitas pemerintah pusat dan daerah.
Zulkifli Hasan mengakui relasi Syah Afandin luas, banyak mengenal pejabat di pusat. Ini berguna bagi percepatan kemajuan pembangunan di Langkat.
Malam puncak acara HUT Langkat juga dihadiri Walikota Medan Bobby Nasution, juga dimeriahkan dengan penampilan dari Lydora jebolan Indonesia Ideal, Pasha Ungu, Eko Patrio, juga Uya Kuya. Ini sebagai upaya Pemkab Langkat untuk menghibur warga negeri bertuah, hiburan bertempat di Alun-alun T Amir Hamzah.

1.Syah Afandin memimpin upacara Hari Jadi ke-273 Kabupaten Langkat, di Halaman Kantor Bupati Langkat, Stabat. Selepasnya, Afandin menerima sertifikat dari BPN Langkat, yakni 213 Persil terdiri dari 212 tanah jalan dan satu (1) tanah gedung.
Menyerahkan santunan kematian dari BPJS Ketenagakerjaan kepada:
1.Ahli waris atas nama Agus Dermawan tenaga honorer BPKAD, Rp 42.000.000,-
2.Ahli waris atas nama Khairunnisa tenaga honorer Disdukcapil, Rp.70.000.000.-
Dua anak dari Almarhumah Khairunnisa turut mendapatkan beasiswa kuliah, Rp.174.000.000.-
2.Syah Afandin melepaskan 50 peserta karnaval mengenakan pakaian 14 etnis, dari depan Rumdis Bupati Langkat.
3. Plt Bupati Langkat hadiri rapat paripurna dalam rangka HUT Langkat, di Ruang Rapat Paripurna DPRD Langkat. Rapat dipimpin Ketua DPRD Langkat, Sribana PA.
Dipidatonya, Afandin mengajak semua pihak selalu menanamkan rasa terimakasih kepada siapapun yang telah mengabdi untuk Langkat.
Kemudian dilaksanakan penyerahan cinderamata kepada mantan Bupati, Ketua DPRD, dan Sekda Langkat, juga kepada warga berprestasi. Lalu pemberian KTP kepada warga yang berusia 17 tahun, di kelahiran 17 Januari.
4.Sehari sebelum acara puncak resepsi, Senin (16/1/2023). Syah Afandin memberikan santunan kepada 273 anak yatim. Serta menghadirkan Al-Ustadz Zaky Mirza untuk bertaushiyah dihadapan ribuan masyarakat Langkat, di Alun – alun T Amir Hamzah, Stabat. Giat diawali pembacaan Alquran oleh putra terbaik Langkat, Zahran Auzan (Terbaik ll MHQ tingkat Internasional Arab Saudi tahun 2022).
5.Sebelumnya Plt Bupati Langkat meninjau seluruh stand UMKM di Alun-alun, bertujuan memberikan semangat dan motivasi, sekaligus bentuk ucapan terimakasih atas kontribusi pelaku UMKM pada peningkatan ekonomi kerakyatan di Langkat.
6.Syah Afandin juga melepas ribuan masyarakat yang mengikuti gerak jalan santai dalam rangkah memeriahkan HUT Langkat.
