Pjs Bupati Toba Dr Agustinus Panjaitan ibadah di HKBP Soposurung ajak masyarakat gunakan hak pilih pada Pilkada 27 November 2024.(ist).
TOBA, INVOCAVIT. COM – Penjabat Sementara (Pjs) Bupati Toba, Agustinus Panjaitan, mengajak seluruh warga jemaat HKBP Soposurung dan masyarakat Toba untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam Pemilihan Kepala Daerah (Pilkada) pada 27 November 2024. Ajakan tersebut disampaikannya saat mengikuti ibadah Minggu di Gereja HKBP Soposurung, Balige, Minggu (13/10/2024).
Agustinus mengingatkan pentingnya hak pilih dalam memperbaiki sistem demokrasi di Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Toba. “Hak pilih yang Bapak, Ibu, sampaikan akan memperbaiki sistem demokrasi di Indonesia,” ujar Agustinus.
Ia menekankan pentingnya masyarakat memahami manfaat dari memilih, bukan hanya sekadar memenuhi kewajiban. Menurutnya, warga perlu melihat rekam jejak calon pemimpin yang akan mereka pilih. “Pilkada itu untuk memilih pemimpin, maka pilihlah calon yang mampu memajukan Kabupaten Toba dan Provinsi Sumatera Utara untuk empat tahun mendatang,” katanya.
Agustinus juga berharap angka partisipasi pemilih meningkat, sehingga legitimasi pemimpin yang terpilih lebih kuat. Ia mengajak semua warga yang memiliki hak pilih untuk saling mengingatkan agar datang ke TPS pada hari pemilihan.
