TANJUNGBALAI,INVOCAVIT.COM-Satuan Lalu Lintas (Sat Lantas) Polres Tanjung Balai kembali melaksanakan kegiatan pengaturan arus lalu lintas pada pagi, Selasa (9/12).
Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memastikan keamanan, keselamatan, ketertiban, dan kelancaran lalu lintas (Kamseltibcarlantas) bagi masyarakat.
Pengaturan lalu lintas (Gatur Lantas) ini difokuskan pada jam-jam padat di lima titik strategis yang sering mengalami kepadatan diantaranya Jalan Sudirman simpang Jalan Gereja, Simpang Jalan Gereja – Jalan Teuku Umar, Jalan Veteran simpang Titi Silau, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman depan SMP N 1 dan Jalan Sudirman simpang MT. Haryono
Kasat Lantas Polres Tanjung Balai, AKP Demonstar, S.H., M.H menjelaskan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan meliputi pelayanan berupa pengaturan arus lalu lintas. Selain itu, petugas juga melakukan tindakan kepolisian terhadap pelanggaran lalu lintas yang kasat mata serta memberikan himbauan simpatik kepada pengguna jalan agar selalu tertib berlalu lintas.
“Fokus utama kita adalah memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada masyarakat yang memulai aktivitas pagi, sehingga tercipta situasi Kamseltibcarlantas yang kondusif. Selain itu, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menekan angka pelanggaran dan kecelakaan lalu lintas di wilayah hukum Polres Tanjung Balai,” ujar AKP Demonstar.
Masyarakat diimbau untuk selalu mematuhi peraturan lalu lintas demi keselamatan bersama.(anja)
