SERGAI, INVOCAVIT.COM – Atook Space Caffe resmi hadir sebagai tempat tongkrongan baru di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai (Sergai). UMKM yang berlokasi tepat di belakang Rumah Sakit Sultan Sulaiman ini resmi dibuka pada Sabtu (23/8/2025) sore dan berhasil menyerap 23 tenaga kerja lokal Sergai.

Grand Opening Atook Space diawali dengan pemotongan pita dan dilanjutkan dengan pemberian santunan kepada anak yatim. Acara peresmian turut dihadiri Ketua MUI Sergai H Hasful, IPDA Brimen, H. Kisai Dalimunthe, Direktur RS Sultan Sulaiman dr. Aldi Syahri Saragih, Sekretaris Camat Sei Rampah Ahmadi, Wartawan, serta tamu undangan dan puluhan pengunjung dari berbagai daerah.

Dalam sambutannya, Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja, Koperasi, dan UMKM Sergai, M. Ikhsan, M.AP., menyampaikan apresiasi atas kehadiran UMKM baru yang menyerap 23 anak Serdang Bedagai yang tidak lagi menganggur sudah punya penghasilan sendiri. Ikhsan juga memberikan pesan penting kepada pelaku usaha agar lebih peka terhadap kebutuhan pasar.

“Jangan menjual apa yang kita ingin jual, tapi juallah apa yang ingin dibeli konsumen. Misalnya, meski konsep kafe identik dengan kopi, bukan berarti hanya kopi yang harus dijual. Lihat apa yang diinginkan pasar. Kalau dipaksakan, usaha bisa mandek, lalu muncul prasangka tidak sehat. Jadi rajinlah membaca pasar, ciptakan suasana yang hangat, tegur sapa pengunjung, dan jangan segan membuat kuesioner untuk mengetahui keinginan mereka,” paparnya lagi.

Ikhsan menambahkan, pemerintah siap memberi dukungan melalui konsultasi dan pelatihan UMKM di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai.”Pintu kami terbuka. Silakan datang ke kantor jika ingin berkonsultasi. Pemerintah pusat juga menyediakan banyak program pelatihan. Mudah-mudahan usaha ini diberkahi Allah SWT dan bisa terus berkembang,” tutupnya.

Sementara itu, Owner Atook Space, Risky Surya Prasetya dan Vasla Qadavi, kepada wartawan menyampaikan rasa syukur atas dibukanya usaha ini. Pembukaan usaha ini sengaja dipilih pada 23 Agustus 2025 karena berdekatan dengan momentum Hari Ulang Tahun Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia ke-80

“Harapan kami, Atook Space dapat mempercepat pertumbuhan UMKM di Serdang Bedagai dan menyerap lebih banyak tenaga kerja muda sehingga angka pengangguran semakin berkurang. Nama Atook Space sendiri diambil dari sebutan kakek dalam keluarga kami, sebagai bentuk penghormatan dan doa agar usaha ini membawa keberkahan,” pungkasnya.***
