Komjen Ahmad Dofiri
JAKARTA, INVOCAVIT.COM – Komjen Ahmad Dofiri ditunjuk menjadi Wakil Kepala Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Wakapolri), menggantikan Agus Andrianto yang kini menjabat Menteri Imigrasi dan Pemasyarakatan.
Komjen Ahmad Dofiri ditunjuk menjadi Wakapolri dalam mutasi terbaru yang dilakukan oleh Kapolri Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Komjen Ahmad Dofiri sebelumnya menjabat Inspektur Pengawasan Umum (Irwasum) Polri.
Mutasi itu tertuang dalam surat telegram bernomor: ST/2517/XI/KEP./2024, Selasa (12/11/2024).
Untuk diketahui, Komjen Ahmad Dofiri menyelesaikan studi di Akademi Polisi (Akpol) pada 1998, dan tercatat sebagai lulusan terbaik di angkatannya dengan meraih Adhi Makayasa.
Karir Komjen Ahmad Dofiri di Korps Bhayangkara terbilang mentereng. Dia adalah perwira tinggi Polri yang memimpin sidang Komisi Kode Etik Polri (KKEP) eks Kadiv Propam Polri, Ferdy Sambo.
Semasa menjadi perwira menengah, Ahmad Dofiri pernah menjabat sejumlah jabatan strategis. Dia sempat ditugaskan menjadi Kapolres Bandung dan Kapolrestabes Yogyakarta. Karir Ahmad Dofiri semakin melejit saat dia dipercaya sebagai Wakapolda Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY).
Beberapa tahun kemudian, Ahmad Dofiri dimutasi menjadi Kapolda Banten. Tidak berlangsung lama, Ahmad Dofiri lalu dirotasi menjadi Karosunluhkum Divkum Polri.
Pada tahun 2016. Ahmad Dofiri kembali digeser dan menjabat Kapolda DIY. Selama menjabat Kapolda DIY, Dofiri menangani sejumlah kasus menonjol. Salah satunya kasus penyebaran hoax yang mencatut nama Gubernur DIY Sri Sultan HB X.
Kemudian pada tahun 2018, Ahmad Dofiri menangani kasus penyerangan Gereja Katolik Santa Lidwina Bedog, Kecamatan Gamping, Sleman. Dofiri mengatakan pelaku penyerangan itu terkait jaringan teroris.
Ahmad Dofiri juga mendapat kenaikan pangkat menjadi Irjen atau jenderal bintang dua. Saat itu Polda DIY ditingkatkan statusnya menjadi tipe A.
Setelah beberapa tahun menjabat Kapolda DIY, Ahmad Dofiri kemudian ditarik kembali ke Mabes Polri dan diberi tugas sebagai Aslog Kapolri. Hampir setahun menjabat, Ahmad Dofiri kembali dimutasi ke Tanah Priangan.
Pada 2020, Ahmad Dofiri ditunjuk sebagai Kapolda Jabar yang baru. Ahmad Dofiri lalu menjabat sebagai Kepala Badan Intelijen Keamanan (Kabaintelkam) Polri pada Oktober 2021, kemudian pada awal 2023 dia mendapat promosi menjadi Itwasum Polri.***
