Kadishub Sumut Dr Agustinus Panjaitan memeriksa ratusan kendaraan Angkutan Umum memastikan kelancaran mudik lebaran 2025.(ist).
MEDAN, INVOCAVIT.COM – Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) Sumatera Utara bersama sejumlah instansi terkait melakukan uji kelaikan ratusan kendaraan umum menjelang mudik Lebaran 2025. Langkah ini bertujuan memastikan keamanan dan kenyamanan para pemudik.
“Kami ingin memastikan kendaraan umum yang digunakan masyarakat dalam kondisi layak jalan,” ujar Kepala Dishub Sumut, Dr. Agustinus Panjaitan, saat pemeriksaan di Terminal Amplas, Medan, Selasa (25/2/2025).
Pemeriksaan ini dilakukan serentak di berbagai terminal di Sumut dengan melibatkan Kementerian Perhubungan, Kepolisian, Badan Narkotika Nasional (BNN), Jasa Raharja, dan Dinas Kesehatan. Petugas mengecek kondisi fisik kendaraan, izin operasional, serta dokumen penting seperti SIM, STNK, dan bukti uji kelayakan.
Secara teknis, pemeriksaan meliputi kondisi rem, ban, lampu, serta perlengkapan keselamatan lainnya. Jika kendaraan dinyatakan layak jalan, maka akan diberikan tanda khusus di kaca depan dengan barcode yang bisa diakses masyarakat. Selain itu, sopir dan kernet juga menjalani tes urine untuk memastikan mereka bebas dari narkoba.
Pemeriksaan ini dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu pada 25-27 Februari 2025, 22-24 Maret 2025 (sebelum Lebaran), serta 5-7 April 2025 (arus balik). Dishub Sumut juga berencana melakukan pemeriksaan serupa untuk kapal penyeberangan di Danau Toba pada 5-7 April 2025.
