BELAWAN, INVOCVIT.COM – Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Armada Rl ke 80 Tahun 2025, Komando Daerah Angkatan Laut I (Kodaeral I) menggandeng DPD HNSI Sumut dan DPC HNSI Medan mengelar lomba dayung sampan tradisional di dermaga utama Makodaeral l Belawan, Kamis (13/11/2025).
Kegiatan lomba yang di buka secara resmi oleh Komandan Kodaeral I, (Dan Kodaeral I) Laksamana Muda TNI Deny Septiana, S.I.P., M.A.P, diwakili Wakil Komandan Kodaeral I Brigjen (Mar) Ali Bahar Saragih, SE, M.M, didampingi para PJU Kodaeral l, serta dihadiri Ketua DPD HNSI Sumut dan Ketua DPC HNSI Medan tersebut memperebutkan uang tunai puluhan juta rupiah.
Dan Kodaeral I Laksamana Muda TNI Deny Septiana S.I.P., M.A.P, dalam sambutannya yang dibacakan Wakil Komandan Kodaeral I Brigjen (Mar) Ali Bahar Saragih, SE, M.M, menyampaikan lomba dayung perahu tradisional ini merupakan salah satu rangkaian kegiatan hari Armada RI ke 80 tahun 2025.

Semangat kebersamaan adalah cermin dari budaya bangsa, yaitu gotong royong. Dengan semangat gotong royong kita memperkokoh persatuan dan kesatuan bahu membahu dalam menjaga keamanan laut perairan Indonesia.
Kepada para peserta lomba, Dan Kodaeral I mengucapkan selamat bertanding dan junjung sportifitas serta utamakan keselamatan. Ia juga berpesan agar tetap menjunjung tinggi sportifitas, kalah dan menang adalah hal biasa dalam kompetisi. Namun, persaudaraan dan semangat persatuan adalah yang utama.
Dirinya berharap kegiatan ini menjadi pendorong bagi masyarakat untuk membangun perekonomian dengan memanfaatkan potensi yang ada, hal ini tentu akan berdampak pada pertumbuhan ekonomi yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir.
