SEI RAMPAH, INVOCAVIT.COM —Pengadilan Negeri (PN) Sei Rampah, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai kembali menggelar sidang pembacaan putusan kasus Pembunuhan yang dilakukan oleh seorang suami yang bernama Agus Herbin Tambun kepada istrinya Hertalina Simanjuntak (46), Kamis (22/5/25).
Dalam dakwaannya terdakwa Agus Herbin Tambun terbukti secara sah dan meyakinkan bersalah melakukan tindak pidana Melakukan Pembunuhan Secara Berencana sebagaimana dalam dakwaan pertama primair.
“Menjatuhkan pidana kepada Terdakwa oleh karena itu dengan pidana penjara Seumur Hidup,” bunyi amar putusan yang dibacakan dalam Sidang yang dipimpin oleh Ketua Majelis Hakim Maria CN Barus, didampingi dua hakim anggota Orsita Hanum dan Fierda HRS Sitorus.
Kasus tersebut menjadi viral karena saat itu korban sedang melakukan siaran langsung sembari karaoke di Facebook, sehingga semakin memperkuat perhatian publik terhadap kasus ini.
“Majelis Hakim juga perlu mempertimbangkan pengetahuan dan cara kerja Terdakwa dalam melakukan pembunuhan secara berencana, sehingga dengan pengetahuan dan cara kerja yang sangat kejam dan tragis dilakukan secara live melalui media sosial yang dapat dilihat oleh orang banyak termasuk anak-anak sehingga ditakutkan dapat dicontoh oleh orang lain, menurut Majelis Hakim pidana penjara sekian tahun sudah tidak tepat bila dijatuhkan kepada Terdakwa, sehingga Majelis Hakim berpendapat pidana penjara seumur hidup adalah pidana yang sudah tepat dan adil dan sepadan dengan perbuatan dan bobot kesalahan Terdakwa,” bunyi salah satu pertimbangan dalam putusan tersebut.
